to be honest, I thought it was a bit quiet, but possibly your voice is a bit raspier than most people (to me it sounds almost cold/flu ish)... try singing to your phone? see if that works.
I'm sorry, I thought I'd explained in the XDA thread that this was the only camera I had to hand, but I'll try and add more megapixels to my camera in future. Of course you realised that the point of the video is to show that it's not my accent affecting the speech input, so the visuals are largely irrelevant, given that I read out the words that it wrote.
Could you explain exactly how you think my recording and narration skills in any way reflect my understanding and use of Android software?

However, the video is just useless. You can't see anything at all. No problem with the narration except that it is too quiet to be heard. My speakers are turned all the way to 11 and I can barely hear you.
The camera you did use might have been a little more useful had you used some/more indirect light. Looks like the light from the display is washing out whatever sensor your using...
