I cannot disprove that there are no extremist Muslims, there are many who portray Islam as intolerant. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) migrated to Medina, he was invited by and lived peacefully with the Jew. His wife's uncle was a devout Christian, no conflict. The conflict was with the pagans who refused to allow the Muslims from practicing their faith, and to avoid further pursecution and any violence they went to Abbysinia and Medina to live peacefully with Christians and Jews respectively.

As with anyone Muslims are easily influenced to whichever extreme, as seen with the cartoons. I condemn those cartoons, but violence did not achieve anything and Islam advocates peace. Further Islam started and spread in a peaceful manner, and the Muslims were persecuted for their beliefs. Although you have a good point, even Muslims should be questioning their beliefs.

I cannot disprove that there are no extremist Muslims, there are many who portray Islam as intolerant. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) migrated to Medina, he was invited by and lived peacefully with the Jew. His wife's uncle was a devout Christian, no conflict. The conflict was with the pagans who refused to allow the Muslims from practicing their faith, and to avoid further pursecution and any violence they went to Abbysinia and Medina to live peacefully with Christians and Jews respectively.

Andy, youtube is not a place to get answers and the previous comment proves ignorance on the part of the Muslims. As with anyone Muslims are easily influenced to whichever extreme, as seen with the cartoons. I condemn those cartoons, but violence did not achieve anything and Islam advocates peace. Further Islam started and spread in a peaceful manner, and the Muslims were persecuted for their beliefs. Although you have a good point, even Muslims should be questioning their beliefs.

Hey guys- my point is that if Islam is so much the one true faith, why is it that Moslems are so angry when their religion is questioned? speaking of the sword, when islam began, it's spread was very violent. there is no debate about this. Also, when the cartoons came out in Europe recently, the violence and death which resulted shamed Islam in the eyes of the world and placed it as a violent, iron-age religion in the eyes of many, whose followers were simple and intolerant. A Hindu would say "We're all just a dream of Brahma and Hinduism has all the answers". Moslems would say "There is only Allah and his prophet is Mohammed- Islam has all the answers". See a pattern? correction: mary did not live during prophet muhammad's time. she lived during the times of jesus(also a Muslim prophet). Mary was also the mother of Jesus. And yes, there is a hadith(Muhammad's sayings) that he will be united with Mary,in heaven. Not in this world. Please, if you don't know facts don't spread filthy lies abt other people's religions. Don't your religion teach you to respect others?
