I can't believe they wouldn't include this on the soundtrack. The Cruzados are my favorite band of all time, but I'm only just finding out about this song now, and I really wish there were some studio version of it that I could hear.

Even to this day people ask me what my favorite movie is and when I say RoadHouse they look at me like I got two heads or something but I don't care, let em look.

This song rocks the house and everyone in it. It took me forever to find it outside of watching the movie and also who the band was that did it. Now talk about a disappointed Joe when this song wasn't included in the soundtrack from the movie, that was depressing.

The film version APPEARS to be live(in the movie) but is actually a studio version that is overdubbed with the bar sounds and audio...

This is the one that only Arista controls and owns...the version on the Cruzados live album is truly live and is just plain not the same beast...you will be disappointed;

It does not have the intro and the balance is off...not enough of the twangy rhythm guitar under the lead ....

I hope all of the fans of this song have plans to write to Arista to have this studio version released on 2010.

The live version is good but just not the same--you have really got to write to Arista..the bass guitarist from Cruzados wrote back to me to say that Arista has the exclusive rights to the studio version that was used here to open the movie.

So, let us all write and get it done --

we can dedicate the effort to the late Patrick Swayze for 2010!

Apparently you can get it on the Best of Cruzados but I can't find a copy of that (and even if you can it's not this exact version)

The Live version is missing the opening notes that the movie version had and is somewhat noisy---if you really like the movie version, you will be dissappointed by the live one--it is not bad- it is just not as satisfying...

Yeah its prob the one i got and yes its missing the opening notes.. at the start sounds like its on a tv/radio programme live cause u can here the clapping of the ppl... its the best and closest version of this song ive heard

I have this album and it has this track on there. Its a live version(full) Sometimes i wonder if they recorded this when roadhouse was being made.. Ive heard another version of this song by them but it wasnt has good as this orginal sound...

Tony, the bass player from the Cruzados, was kind enough to respond to my e-mail and said that Arista owns the masters and due to a dispute between Cruzados and Arista, they lost control of the master...

I think we should all write to Arista and get them to re-release the soundtrack and include this great cut;
