I'm a Democrat who served in the Marine Corps. I do feel that doing AmeriCorps and Peace Corps is a great way of Serving but IMO - All of our Strength should be in Afghanistan and Not Iraq. Romney can say all day he regrets not being called to duty but no one knows if that is true, especially since not one of his five sons decided not to go. You don't find a too high military participation rate for wealthy families. Military has generally been for families with less money.

They are the perfect type to serve as officers in the military. I have a ton of respect for Prince Harry who is serving in the British Army, and practically demanded that he serve in Iraq. He graduated from college and is wealthy -- yet he chose to serve.
