Ed knew this was going to happen.

It was the local government that caused SO many problems for him, that he COULD not do the things that he set out to do. The funding was constantly halted or denied (it was halted after it was reported 'accepted' in the news)

The whole system was designed to make Ed fail, he was the fall guy.

Those of us who worked like dogs to rebuild our homes were hopeful wieh blakely first came, but he was a total fraud. Promised he could deliver the world and left when we figured out he could not deliver anything, especially leadership. He always blamed New Orleans, the state or the Feds without accepting any responsibility for his personal failures.  Buyers beware if he comes to your town. He is a scam artist.
