I read on her Wikipedia page that she was quoted as saying that she hoped young people would be able to look up to her as someone who was proud of her sexuality. Brandi Carlile, I am one of those young people. I listen to music like you and Tegan and Sara because it helps me believe that one day I will be as brave as you. Thank you.
