i've finished 57 scenes ( 4 minutes ) of 2d hand drawn animation in a month and all i've got is a shit bamboo tablet, as big as my hand and flash. No need more than that, just a lot of passion man

Some of those clips of his work looked pretty cool for something done on a vector program. Most professional, team made animations are usually made by compiling frame by frame animation in photoshop, but Flash certainly would be the choice software for a guy doing freelance work by himself.

He should get rid of the lightbox completely and invest in a cintiq

@shfbdfi1273 Both Mac and PC are riddled with problems .... there is no better or worse to be honest .. you have to put each environment into its optimal (picky) condition and equip yourself with a whole lot of patience, and then maybe you'll get something outta them ..

No. Any computer hardware and animation and software can create animation. This video is only a promotion for HP and intel. For example, I do my animation on mac OSX, so your choices are not limited.

If you want specific software for animation, you can use programs like Flash (the most popular), Anime Studio, or ToonBoom software. Any of these software packages will run on any windows, or mac computer.
