  • i wish people would stop calling us nerds. Programmers are elite people! Doctors are nerds.

  • they were using C++, not visual basic

  • there were using C++, not visual basic

  • Lol they were making console applications with visual basic

  • i want to get into computer programming but if it means working with a bunch of nerds i dont think i can do that :S

  • @AFByt128 Why are you being so stereotypical? Maybe this job isn't right for you then. Quit making accusations.

  • for people curious they where using visual C++ or a simular IDE and obviously C++ language

  • Is there math related.... Please no ._.

  • @ljaureguiv YES tons of it, but you can use some languages can be used as calculators :)

  • @thespill1

not tons of it, some people never even use math in programming. If you are programming physics engine, then of course you need to be good at math, but if you are making some kind of word processing program you won't use math that much...

  • Is it possible to creat a program that programs for you, like u tell it to make a program that does something and it programs it for u srry I don't understand computers

  • @agent12803 trololololol is all i can say...

  • @agent12803 Kind of. This is the study of many artificial intelligent developert. If you were to ask an AI expert they would give you a real answer.

  • BILL COSBY MAGGIE SMITH BEETHOVEN SMITH ADRIAN SWABY

  • 2:02 I was in that computer lab when I went to visit :D

  • It looks like alot of typing :/

  • 1:22 C++!!! YEAH! :D

  • do you need to be really good at math for this ?

  • @LuisC1495

I've been learning some web programming for about a year now (not quite professional yet), but the most I've ran into was just basic algebra. I always hated math in school, but at least this interests me. If anything, it has improved my math skills because I have been so interested.

Like I said though, I still consider myself new so there may be more math than I know. So don't take my word on it.

  • @LuisC1495

It depends on what you program. You may run into a lot of arithmetic, algebra, discrete math, linear algebra, or maybe even differential equations or higher if you go for scientific computing. Math and Computer Science go hand and hand sometimes because a lot of the reasoning you use in Math you also use to develop algorithms.

  • @LuisC1495

I will say this though, I went to this school for a few months and I decided to leave and I am now at Pitt. This school focuses more on technical education, rather than more advanced topics. The first class there(Intro to Information Systems) involved little to no math whatsoever because it dealt with web related stuff. You will need to take Algebra here though. I believe the highest they go is Trigonometry for the gaming section, but the teacher goes over it.

  • im at collage now and my course is INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND MY SUBJECTS INCLUDE COMPUTER PROGRAMMING SO Best of luck I HOPE I CAN DO IT!!! 30 THUMBS FOR IT!!

  • @jollybee47 -1 lol

  • i cannot wait until i leave high school and go to college to do this!!! :D one more year!!!

  • @WorthWatchingVv Best of luck in college dude.

  • A good summary of who programmers are. A shame that some just dismiss us as unsocial nerds; but that's probably because they can't fathom how different programming is to what they're used to.

  • NERD ALERT

  • I'll send this video to all my friend :D Just because they are stupid...

  • @pufixas

Lol do they think video and web programming is just all fun and games?

  • does computer programming have anything to do with security on a computer and people hacking in.

  • @noelanisama Is that a real question???

  • @noelanisama yea, programming is needed for pretty much any software except for graphics work. (software is collection of programs, anti virus = software, games = software, Ms word = software)

  • lol nerd

  • youtube.com/watch?v=TROnlvorhDs programming will be easy in the future.

  • what year was this born in

  • @LyndseyDevine

    lol, what!

  • Computer programming is art more them science

  • my future here i come

  • @RandomlySnapped yea for real. fuck nursing

  • @RandomlySnapped forreal

  • lame...
