  • Banksy you are the BEST!

  • Fuck Ron English, he was a fucking douche in exit through the gift shop.

  • Wuts the song on the bkround?

  • Graffiti Streetart meets Poptart? Banksy attacks the Nyan Cat!

  • Placing something big and beautiful is good, but if I have to choose

I would rather make a massive eyesore than a miniscule doodle

  • graffiti's only a crime if it looks shity

  • @MrDelMero so true and sad but true that's the 99%

  • Alcohol kills .. take LSD ! haha

  • Mad ill

  • #Iamdiddy brought me here

  • Great video, really love this art! Banksy is doing the most imperssive artworks i´ve ever seen;)

  • banksy is gay shepard is gay all the street art is gay any sucka could do this shit and if u dont belive me watch banksys doc son

  • @ZeldaLover122 Get the fuck out of here then Fucken Hater

  • @ZeldaLover122

You obviously missed the point of the documentary then.

  • @m1sterHANDS i think the one who missed the point of the doc was you. but its cool, this shit won't last. graf and street art are already being perverted by corporate entities looking to capitalize on the flavor of the month. "why are so many artists willing to suffer for their work, but so few willing to learn how to draw?"-BANKSY

  • @distinct36

I was done talking about this two weeks ago.

  • @m1sterHANDS well maybe you should stop talking then

  • Banksy ist ohne Zweifel der großartigste Street- Art- Künstler aller Zeiten.

  • banksy, please make art on my walls :)

  • "banksy is the reason i started creating stencil graffiti"

    couldn't agree more. so inspirational.

  • Street art is now going corporate here in Australia. Controversy between purity of the street art and corporate commercialism.

  • maestro

  • Banksy, please, visit Poland. It's ugly as hell and desperately needs your help. :)

  • 3 guys like's Justin Bieber

  • the reason why alot of ppl frown on graffiti is because they only see the dumb gang sings that are horribly drawn not even art and just tags that r meant to piss ppl off

  • Banksy is not a sellout!! Banksy = GODKING! ;D

  • Lol Graffiti is so 1999.

  • Jason Statham @ 0:24

  • 0:55 Vin Diesel?? haha

  • 0:25 is that jason statham????????

  • Now you guys think of it like "it should be legal"... But, if it were legal, not a lot would be good. Think of it this way, all the GOOD artists aren't going to stop anyway. And any bad artists will get good eventually. Keeping it illegal is not going to affect any good artists, they're going to keep painting. Making it legal would just ruin it. I mean, if you're not doing illegal work, you may as well be retired. Just my opinion..

  • I dont do graffiti ive always wanted to learn but i like just to see the artistic work in big citys and on building and trains i think its beautiful

  • This is an extact from exit through the gift shop, right?

  • @MaghoxFr No, it's not. But that's still fantastic :)

  • @mockingcyde Ok, cause there's a bit in that documentary that's very similar to this. Both are awesome!

  • toasters aren't Starwars, they're Battlestar Galactica.

  • The best way to get a message out is through graffiti, the media often distracts people from the truth ignoring every single good artists and use them as tools to portray illusions. Through graffiti you may be vandalizing property, but if you put a good message people might be enlightened more GOOD graffiti more enlightening at bay.

  • Graffiti is a crime...its a good way to artistically deface property without permission..

  • VIVA A PIXAÇAO NO BRASIL!

  • graffiti is illegal because we have retard gang members who use spray cans to ruin society and not better it

  • Graffiti can be awful.

Don't believe I'm a hater. I love it, so much, i'm so sad i can't see it more often in my city.

But let's stay honnest, some guys doesn't know how to make a nice graffiti. Grafitti is an art. But every guys that are doing graffitis aren't artists

.Some are just doing some sh*t on walls. And the worst thing : because of some bad guys, it's considered as a crime, and we can't enjoy it.

Learn before doing. Nobody did real music by taking a guitar and simply playing.

  • @LeRouxBel

    best comment so far!

  • Watch Miss Biarritz and Safe the planet- Recycling art!!! Or an interesting art work with graffiti watch Graffiti Camouflage ! Enjoy it

  • yeah graffiti is great until its a gang putting their sign up about who they just killed. yeah it looks great when a real artist does it, but its depressing to see tags about a person who was just murdered

  • Great video. You showed me soooo much!

  • GRAFFITI`s not a crime ! Legalize`it

  • great work

whats the track used herE? plz let me know asap

    thanks

  • Street art is so awesome, I really love it.

  • if somebody places a wonderfull piece on my house: ok

if somebody places a piece of shit or a shitty tag on my house: fuck you

  • Whats the best spray paint ppl?

  • Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanksy *-*

  • ART IS NOT ENTERTAINMENT

  • annoying music...why do they assume street artist like rap?

  • there is a graffiti removal ad on this vid. LOL.

  • street art, not graffiti.

street art is something that someone has put alot of thought and effort into. graffiti is someone writing little shitty tags.

  • FREEE LOVEEEEEE!

  • yes i do like banksy... hey is a great artist...but..do you think he can paint nice stuf without stencils? I DON'T KNOW..but he's great man..great ...great great..but uhhhmm i don't think so..but but uhhhm

  • @ZUERETORG yes he can! ;) I saw a dokumentary and an old friend of Banksy told that hes coming from real Graffiti Scene in the 90s

  • nooo... 2nd guy below me... beign chased by the popo is better than getting permission. ask seen\\1//

  • graffiti=50% crime /50% art

  • I think graffiti is acceptable only when you have the owner's permission to express your art on their wall... I mean hey would you like it if I spray painted a giant dick on your house? =]

  • @cptblackhawk Then it isn't graffiti, graffiti is any type of writing on property that isn't yours.

  • @Voldemorc I suppose you are right anyways your art is beautiful

  • Graffitti can be a beautiful crime.

  • I see it more as a thrill and self expression. art is a vessel we use to show the world our opinions.

  • If graffiti was legal nobody would do it.

  • @pnazzy I would...

  • @moebob24 i probably would too... quite honestly... it would just be really awkward because everyone would watch you...

  • @pnazzy no, if it was legal people would still do graffiti, just different people.

  • Yeah saw those toasters all over london boss as shit

  • there is some great art pieces in there.

why dont you do on canvas and sell it, instead of defacing property?

i like it in a controled invironment but it really sux when peeps spray my private property.

  • @Cre8iveSignWorks Why should we have designated places to hang art? Art should be free and outside so anyone can see it. It doesn't have to have a price on it, artists who create art for money are doomed to fail, graffiti artists are so passionate about their art work, we are willing to risk getting arrested, ridiculed, and often times killed doing what they love. "Controlled art is the end of graffiti" The general public who allow other people to lead their lives will never understand this.

  • @GoodEvenings

yeah i get it, and i got no problems if you dont want to sell your art or display it legally...

but if i catch any of these distructive arseholes spraying over my sign work or my private property (which happens far too often) look out!

  • @Cre8iveSignWorks I respect that, and they should know better. Some catch tags for fame, others for art, and some to just purely destroy, just don't think were all the same. If you catch'em their subjected to your mercy.

  • @GoodEvenings

i didnt expect that answer, but its good to hear that some are just in it for good, not evil....im all for the art of it (and most ive seen are good works) but its the vandalism i dont like....and thats all that goes on around here...shit tags on private property, etc.

  • Wow that McDonald's ad was bullshit.

  • @weimer495

dude dont drop ta paint just hide it

or wen u finish painting put in ur backpack :)

thats wat i do some times

  • Epic!

  • i juts got into stenciling. how do you do it on buildings and run away. after i spray the stencil its dripping paint. what am i supposed do with it whenn im done?

  • keep more distance when spraying between spraycan and stencil. dripping will be much less.I hope this will help you.

  • It should not be dripping. what material r u workin with? Go easy on tha paint

  • nice video

  • Toaster's fuckin ace!

  • Ron English is a champ.

  • Banksy FTW

  • Graffiti isn't legal because they don't want us expressing our self through our art, and I think that that is the crime. I believe that you find out a lot about a person by taking a look at their art. Imagine a world without graffiti. It would be so plain.Graffiti is part of out life and culture.

  • @1samiam1 I think graffiti is a symbol of the counter culture movement; 'they' don't like it when people disrupt the order they've created through materialism and rampart 'ownership'. To be free is to rise above the monotony of the everyday, and graffiti does that; be it a scream from the ghetto or an attempt at high art it makes everyone stop to re-evaluate where we are going as a society, from a personal level.

  • @1samiam1 i agree with you for the most part. but graffiti is illegal because, simply put, not everyone is good at it. they cant make a law that justifies actions based on a spectrum of talents. Some people are going to send crucial messages through the use of a beatiful and innovative medium. Others are going to trash property with slander and dicks. The government would rather play it safe. But who gives a shit, lets go bombing

  • @1samiam1

you are right, but everybody should spray on legal walls.

cause a lot of people won't like any graffitis on their wall

  • Good comeback, if your still in elementary school.

  • @1samiam1 graffiti isn't legal because punks get off by writing their own names as big as possible, the art factor changes the game

but the fact remains that the nobrainers ruin the fun for all of us once again

  • @1samiam1 They just don't want people messing up all walls in the city, people can still express their art wtf:) (On the other hand I love graffiti paintings though)

  • @1samiam1 i would agree, but its just funny how if someone bombs the side of your house, you most likely wouldn't like it.

  • @supdiid123

it's a different thing to do art (illegally, duh) to express your self and to counter media and government propaganda, than messing up someones private property.

  • @1samiam1 Graffiti itself is legal. Youre just not allowed to paint buildings that arent yours.

  • @MofexGaming True but it does make some very good art. It's actually starting to become accepted many place as marketing and art.

  • @rayford8605 Yeah if they make real Street Art not that Gang-Graffiti tag shit

  • @1samiam1 Repainting over Graphitti takes hundreds of dollars

    for ever Banksy and Obey

u get a Retarded kid with a can destroying property

    street art

    and vandalism are diffrent

but there is a fine line

  • @1samiam1 graffiti is illegal because it involves defacing private property--i still like though.

  • @1samiam1 I love graffiti so I understand what you mean. But I also understand that buildings are someone's art too. So at the same time I understand why its illegal. I think the taboo of graffiti only makes me like it more. :)

  • @1samiam1 well there are people who dont like their walls painted, how would you like if i painted your car with out me asking you first?

  • @1samiam1 I agree, but on good graffiti. Most graffiti are just drunk kids writing this or that team sucks. I would love to see my city covered on artistic graffiti, but having your wall writen retarded statements sucks.

  • @1samiam1 There are different types of 'graffiti'. It should be punishable when its the predominant, ugly chicken scratch shit attacking your private, hard-earned home or store. The assholes that carve into windows should be executed.

  • @1samiam1 grafitti isnt legal because youre defacing property that isnt yours. spraypaint your house, you wont get introuble.

  • @1samiam1 its illegal because it takes place on someone elses private property... i love graffiti, it is really cool. although i didnt entirely agree with your whole post yet i still thumbs upped it (not that it matters) because the rest of what you had to say made a lot of sense!

  • @1samiam1 graffiti is illegal because although I love graffiti I would freak if someone spray painted my house.

  • @1samiam1 I agree, but I also think that the illegality of graffiti is as much part of the culture as anything else. It's sort of a 'fuck you' to the 'establishment'. Just look at all these artists now hiding their face like Banksy has been doing. It's become a trend even when no one really knows or cares who the artist is.

  • @1samiam1 Agreed

  • @1samiam1 Graffiti has to be illegal i am sorry but if i had a bussiness i wouldnt like people tagging on it. its called respect. dont get me wrong either i fuckign love graffiti its a very badass complex form of art. If people want to express themselves they should find a place where is apropiate to do it.

  • @alexdinamite this isnt tagging tho

  • @MEOWstreetart well you know what i mean. i wouldnt mind it being legal if every single graffiti artist out there was good but that is not a reality

  • @1samiam1 YES!

  • @1samiam1 lol its not that they dont want you to express yourself, their are many legal walls where you can express yourself freely. but vandalism is the crime.

  • @aiiDz Well, having huge corporations paying a ton of money, to have their bilboards smashed right into our faces and brainwashing us, should be a crime as well. It isn't. At least the TV we can just turn off. Sure call it vandalism if you like, but there's no exactly difference between that and what the big corporations are doing, except they earn money on it, we're lucky if we do.

  • @Casptard Well their are main differences such as the fact that they pay money and have permission, and artists don't have permission. I guess its wrong that they are allowed to advertise, but in saying that the same principal would have to be used for graffiti. Advertising will never stop as long as money is still around

  • @1samiam1 only if its cool though lol

  • Graffiti isn't legal because it's vandalism.

But it would be cool if it was legalized, and people had a license to do it. It's art.

  • dumbass adverts on the street are stupid enough... and the subliminal forms that they take on unsuspecting passersby could be considered a form of vandalism... people should be allowed to do graffiti anywhere they damned please; it would at least make walking around outside more interesting and interactive... just imagine it... or go to nyc if you've never been; its really not a nuissance at all... most of it is great.

  • @GrizzlyBuretta It might be great, but how great would it be if someone would put some ugly graffitis on your house?

  • nah homie tats wen ur wrong...once its legal its lame...then niggas wit no balls will start to do it...the harder they make it crazier it gets...live it, then understand it serio man

  • @AngelicBlob Why do we need licenses for creating art? Anyone is qualified to express themselves through mediums. If society deems Graffiti is illegal so be it. Doesn't stop it, just makes us more careful. Graffiti is the largest art movement in history, larger then the Renaissance and the only sub culture that isn't tainted by your governments and corporations. Its we the artists that make our own guidelines and rules, and money is the least of our worries. How can you stop something like that?

  • so awesome!

  • I was in Edinburgh last summer and the city council there had an entire street designated fro graffiti art. It was so cool :P

  • i think graffti should be legal like to have a licence because you need skill to do it

  • why are they covering their faces?

  • graffiti? maybe

  • really? They cover their faces so that the cops don't know what they look like. What they do is a crime

  • It's also so they don't breathe too much of the fumes. It's pretty toxic.

  • it's mostly so that cops don't know what they look like.

  • @Kaylaiscrucial did it ever cross your mind they cover their faces so they dont inhale n2o, thinners or even paint and whatever else is in a can?

  • kewl

  • Those stencils are really good!

  • EPIC WIN

  • Banksy....is EPIC!!

These guys are the forefront of the new gen of art. I love it.

  • Eh that's pretty cool!
