  • Country sounding for a Detroit song, just that twangy voice a little incongruous for the lyric but all in all a rousing version of a song I usually mock since I'm totally Southern. This sure kicks the song up into a new bracket for me! Now I can say..hey Bubba' ...I like "don't Stop" even if it sounds like he's jus' a "small-town boy" from So. Detroit!

  • this singer i believe is joe boy whaley

  • @mooseebob sorry i meant jim bo whaley

  • your all a bunch of morons!! who gives a fuck about the morality of this shit Its entertaining!!

  • YES!

  • @jacornonthecob I'm not sure if you're trolling, or actually an idiot.

  • watch that wet to dry ratio.

  • Who is the guy singing?

  • Great stuff

  • @Jacornonthecob

In regards to your argument on racism, you have made one strong point. That is, you are an idiot.

  • The instruments sound great, but the vocals sound so separated from the rest of the song. The singer isn't bad, just the mixing. Too loud, with too much reverb. But, I still enjoyed this.

  • @clonesusr7264

All you have done is make an ass of yourself, therefore you're a moron. It's not hypocritical to be mad when people are racist towards anyone who isn't a white guy. You should be ashamed of your hate speech. I will have a nice day thank you. I would say the same, but I bet you can't have a nice day unless you lynch a black person.

  • @clonesusr7264

Oh, I'm sorry. Nobody ever told me that blatant racism isn't a legitimate basis to start an argument. I guess that kind of thing is okay where you come from. smh

  • @clonesusr7264

Wow, way to restart a 3 month old argument. You just couldn't let one of your fellow Klansman be insulted could you?

  • love this

  • Where is my Confederate Flag and Jug of Whiskey when I need it most! This is a awesome cover!

  • Tonight, my visiting 7 year old niece, daughter of a Maryland Preacher, PERFECTLY sang to this version of "D.S.B". It's the only version she knows! Me? I've never heard of Pine Mountain Railroad. But I surprised my niece by singing along! She was amazed I knew the words. A good song is interpreted by whomever listens. This tribute by PMR is a fine example. Yes, I know and like the original. But if this were the only version I knew, that would be OK. A GREAT song! And 2 GREAT BANDS!

  • Makes me want to run a mile.

  • Jim Bo Whaley from Gatlinburg Area of The Smokeys is one singing hes alot better than the guy singing now cody shuler he sucks"

  • Comment removed

  • WOW Very cool!!! Love it!!!!!

  • The band is called Pine Mountain Railroad if any one wants to look them up.

  • At about the 2:00 mark I felt a quickening urge to give a rousingly cathartic Rebel Yell!

    Mustn't scare the dog though.

  • @higgme1ster

Why don't you burn some black people while you're at it?

  • @Jacornonthecob You sound like a really sick person. I was making a tongue-in-cheek reference to a rousing hill-billy rendition and you look for some ugly filthy racial basis in it.

  • @higgme1ster

I sound like a really sick person? I don't need some rebel scum talking to me about morality. There was nothing tongue-in-cheek about that comment, you're just a disgusting person over all. I'm guessing you think Martin Luther King Jr. is a really sick person too.

  • @Jacornonthecob Then you would be very wrong. Dr. King was one of the greatest men of the past cenrtury! I even marched in the Atlanta Dr. King Day parade a few years ago. Educate yourself, the "Rebel Yell" had nothing to do with racial opression. It was simply a carryover from the rallying cry of Scottish Highlanders in Britain. It was even documented by the ancient Roman Legions as the fearsome battle cry of the Celtic tribes. Don't believe in the bigoted Southern stereotypes on TV.

  • @higgme1ster

Yeah sure, rebel yells are a scottish thing. And I'm sure white robes of the KKK are actually a reference to some kind of Spanish pride ceremony and aren't anything bad at all. Maybe you should think before you type next time. If you really like Dr. King, maybe you shouldn't make him roll in his grave with your ignorance the next time you post. You should be ashamed.

  • @Jacornonthecob Boston and Newport were the chief slave ports, but nearly all the New England towns -- Salem, Providence, Middletown, New London – had a hand in it. In 1740, slaving interests in Newport owned or managed 150 vessels. In Rhode Island colony up to 2/3 of the fleet and sailors were engaged in slave traffic. Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania governments at various times, derived money from the slave trade by levying duties on black imports.

  • @higgme1ster

    I'll give you a date:

2011- Ignorant redneck higgme1ster tries to destroy everything Dr. King worked for through a disgusting Youtube comment.

    You should be ashamed.

  • @higgme1ster

Also, access to Wikipedia does not make you a decent person. Though I must admit, I am surprised that your brain is capable of searching for things on Wikipedia. I guess even the lowest of the low are getting some knowledge nowadays. Do you use Wikipedia to find out if certain blacks are getting too uppity in the world, so you can burn them? Or is it just for listing things in a pathetic attempt at making an argument?

  • @Roastnear

Does it bother you that the Democrat's annual Jefferson - Jackson day fundraising dinner honors two Slave holding Presidents, one also a murderer of Native Americans?

But that the first Republican President was Abe Lincoln? Even Frederick Douglass was a Republican.

Herman Cain for President in 2012! Cain is Able!

It is time to escape the Democrat plantation, Vote Republican Herman Cain 2012.

He is even more impressive in person! Attend a rally in your town!

  • @higgme1ster

If you new anything about anything you'd know that the parties did a complete 180 a few decades ago. That's why no black people vote Republican anymore. And that probably drives you crazy, which is why you're trying to start a revel uprising so you can burn them all. And right now you've just given up trying to justify yourself, which I take as a confession that you were just as I said you were all along, and ignorant negro burning redneck. I'm proud you can admit it.

  • @Jacornonthecob Google "the city too busy to hate" and see what you come up with. Other places beg each other to just get along but we live it. You need to let go of your hate and join the 21st Century. My dad's family were dirt poor sharecroppers that picked cotton in the fields with black families. He knew a black man was his equal and I never heard him say the "n" word. I have never said that word myself and it makes me sick that you can so casually accuse others of burning people.

  • @higgme1ster

Wow. Are you suggesting that all black families are dirt poor sharecroppers? There's racism, and then there's what you are. You really must hate black people. I suppose you want the gold standard to come back too. Do you drive around with a Confederate flag on your car and laying flowers on statues of Lee? I guess you were happy when Lincoln was shot?

  • @Jacornonthecob No I was not suggesting that all black families are dirt poor sharecroppers. But there was a high propensity that rural Blacks in the deep South during The Great Depression sharecroppedjust to stay alive. I was not taught to hate my fellow man as you appear to have been. I do not own a Confederate flag. I hate to burst your preconceived notions but my life lessons in many ways taught me that a Black man is my brother to love as myself and no amount of tauting will change me.

  • @higgme1ster

I'm sorry, but if that's true, why do you pretend to be a racist ignorant hick on the internet. Actually liking black people is no excuse to go around talking like you burn them on a regular basis. As a wise man once said "It's not who you are underneath, it's what you do that defines you." If you go around portraying a sick, sick man on the internet, that makes you a sick, sick man. You are a sick, sick man, and you have my pity.

  • @Jacornonthecob I invite you to listen to Paul McCartney - Mull Of Kintyre and then tell me what you hear at the end of the song.

Remember, Paul McCartney's family were Scots and that is a distinct Rebel Yell from a man that has had no part in racial inequality. Your irrational and hateful vendetta against imagined affronts has become clownish. A mature person would admit being wrong and apologize.

  • @higgme1ster

...Seriously? You're comparing your racist filth to the struggles of the Scots? Holy crap. I suppose you burn books in your free time too? You never cease to amaze me. You're really kind of pathetic at this point. You're right though, a mature person would admit to being wrong and apologize, but I know more than to expect maturity from an ignorant piece of white trash like you. I feel sorry for your parents, but then again they're probably just as ignorant as you are.

  • @higgme1ster
