A look at NCL's upcoming cruise ship, Norwegian Epic

The experience must be awesome. The outside is not exactly my taste though; especially the huge box right above the bridge; it just makes the whole front look un-streamlined. But inside is amazing and I love the idea of free-style cruising:)

I wonder if Norwegian purposely made her ugly on the outside so people would remember the ship and then maybe go on her in the future. Granted getting attention for being ugly isn't desirable but it is attention and people will remember it... good or bad.

I personally would love to go on her BTW.

128 single occupancy cabins. still charging 25% "singles supplement". after taxes and mandatory $10/day tip not a good deal for singles.

NCL has some good ideas, it looks very bad!! It is also a whithead crowd.

Oasis has a lot of great ideas, looks great and has more of a hip, active crowd.

WOW, I gotta say, I like RCI but Oasis is just Liberty of the Seas on steroids. **YAWN** at least the Epic is different from previous ships. I don't see whats so bad about this ship. The exterior design?? Who cares?? It's whats inside that counts.

@zonkiethegreat I know I agree and he acts like Oasis is beautiful, well like you said its like The Freedom Class on steroids, even though norwegian epic isn't so great at looks, I think its amenities are way better than Oasis, Oasis got boring already, the only thing I thought was cool was the Central park and Aqua Theater, but I am getting over it already, and I think that QM2 is much better than Oasis at looks, Oasis is cool but it became boring after a while, the story just repeats around it

im going on the norwegian gem built in 2007...this ships design is entirely different from any of the other norwegain ships..it looks a bit strange...but the inside design is very cool!

she looks like she's balancing books on her head. the exterior is totally garish but inside, however, is amazing. really stylish and hip, and cool especially the ice bar. I'd probably hop on this ship first before the oasis of the seas! actually, maybe many more times before then.

if you have a balcony your view is the ocean, I just returned from a Norwegian Sky cruise and I had a balcony stateroom and a fantastic ocean view.

OMG was your ship the one the guy jumped off of? Because i was just on the Norwegian Pearl and we had to participate in that search for him.

Yeah, he threw himself overboard at about 1am and we searched for him with the help of a few other cruise ships, yours being one of them, until 3:45pm the next day with means we missed our 8am Nassau port of call and we didn't get into Nassau until 5pm.

Well we didn't miss Nassau but we did miss Stirrup Cay which to me was bad bacause I've been to Nassau before but never to Stirrup Cay.
