  • Quite possibly the match with the best rallies in the history of tennis!

  • Novak's backhand is a menace.

  • all of us should see by now why nadal couldnt win. there were alot of short balls that djokovic left hanging which nadal left unpunished. that came to haunt him. in the semi-final federer punished them with no hesitation.

  • the amount of success nadal had/has hitting into the djoko forehand with his forehand makes you wonder why he doesnt do it on a more consistent basis

  • @Peaches1822 because its down the line, in tennis u make 2 times as many errors going straight at the higher side of net. Its like telling Federer to hit down the line with his backhand to hurt nadal, realistically its the shot he need to make on his backhand to beat nadal. Its too difficult to do with one hand backhand.

  • @youziness I know that, I'm not stupid. But believe it or not, as I have just witnessed one of the most ridiculous tennis matches I've ever seen, beating djokovic isn't easy, so he has to do something different, that was my point. Given what has just happened, I honestly cannot believe that match that has just happened though, when he lost a 80-90 min first set, and what happened in the semi final, I thought djokovic was done for (I'm talking about today btw) :)

  • @Peaches1822 yeah its good for tennis if nadal loses often. He is using table tennis concept where the defensive player camp far behind the table to lob the ball back in play. The way he plays disgusts me and should be long ago punished. I hope some 2 handers like berdych del potro murray hits more consistent flat backhands against him, we don't need solely djokovic to beat him.

  • @youziness I'm not sure the phrase 'its good for tennis if nadal loses often' demonstrates any knowledge of the sport in any spectrum of time. My comment was nothing along the lines of what you just said. Thanks to federer AND nadal, the movement required at the top of the game is like nothing anyone has ever seen, so although I'm not a 100% fan of his game style, what he has done for tennis deserves more than the top line of your comment

  • Nadal humiliates himself with this harmless pushing... he looks silly

  • Anyone noticed how in all the slam matches Djokovic has played in 2011, the majority of the crowd want the opponent to win?

Australian Open - Murray for sure. Rooted for his first slam win.

French Open - French crowds LOVE Federer, 80% after him.

Wimbledon - Every match the British didn't support him as much. (Baghdatis, Tsonga, Nadal..)

Wimbledon - Amercian crowds LOVE Federer 99% and Nadal here 99%

Djokovic is just dammed to be the crowd upsetter #1

  • @ArjunJethwa that's funny, and quite true. I'm not sure how much of the American crowd have got over djokovic v roddick in 2008 at flushing meadows

  • These guys are not human. To be capable of playing any sport at this level is terrifying!

  • I think we need another Sampras to mix things up. It's all bang bang bang from the baseline, you really don't need much thought when playing these days.

  • @Shodai24 Even if sampras was here.Nothing would change. The problem is not with the players, its with the courts.Last year,at the paris masters, which was played on extremely fast conditions.A serve and volleyer named Llodra made it to the semis.

  • What is that woman doing beside the umpire with the black gun lookin' thing?

  • NOLE THE BEST jajajjaa

  • watching this and then the indoor season is a refresher. This courts are so fucking slow.

Now the four grand slams are like this:

    Monte carlo open 1

    Monte carlo open 2

    Monte carlo open 3

    Monte carlo open 4-

Might as well rename the grand slam as Grand Clay slam

  • @KaminariKatta true, the game looks better now for spectators, but it has taken away so much of the beauty, skill and variety of what has made tennis so great

  • This video shows djokovic can break nadal anytime he wants. Therefore not afraid of himself being broken at all.

  • This wasn't the final. Djokovic vs Federer should've been the final.

  • Djokovic's ground strokes seem to be slower than they were at Madrid.

  • Wtf happened to the us open???

These courts are so ridiculously slow.Slow till rafa gets away with his moonballs. The shot at 1:02 was literally a moonball.

Watching del potro vs federer at the us open 2009 and then this feels so weirds.

    Like complete opposites.

  • @KaminariKatta Well it's pretty obvious really. Nadal is by far the most popular tennis player in the world and tournament directors and television broadcast stations want the most number of viewers watching throughout the tournament. So a lot of the tournaments have tailored their surfaces to ensure that it suits the top players e.g. Djokovic, Nadal, Federer, etc. Understandable but it's killing variety in the sport.

  • @Keega It kills me to see that the us open, which was the only fast surface grand slam turned into another clay court.

    Now we have

    Light blue clay-australian open

    Real clay-french open

    Green clay-wimbledon

    Dark blue clay-us open

Now the only time where we can enjoy fast, attacking tennis is in the indoor season and the WTF.

The way its going, tennis is going to die.

  • @KaminariKatta man, the surface hasn't changed to clay the thing is that ATP change the balls and these are slower than the others that's why it looks slower

  • @cortadew But it still feels like clay doesnt it?

Watch some vids of the darker blue surface of the us open.

Just watch federer in 2004,or some sampras vs agassi matches.

The ball bounce on this surface is close to clay though.Never seen nadal's moonballs working so effectively on a hardcourt.

But the court somehow sped up as the match progressed,i think its faster at night.

  • @KaminariKatta nadal's moonballs are getting weaker with less spin from a defensive situation compared to 2008, allowing players to attack easily nowadays.

  • @youziness But this IS a hardcourt right??

Im sure the surface got slower,if you watch del potro vs nadal in 2009,there was a point where rafa hit a moonball almost exactly like the one at 1:02.

However, del potro simply smacked the ball like smacking his hoes.

Nadal just stood there and watched the ball fly past.

Aside from that, less spin is better on a hard court, more spin is better on a clay court.

  • @KaminariKatta Whats a "MOON" Ball??

  • A BBC radio commentator describe this as 'Tennis mark 2'.

    I agree.

  • I was wondering when does Nole feels fatigue with his knee???

  • @colin0622 he feels it now.

  • Djokovic mostrali il vero tennis.

  • p.s.

The crowd was just awful that day

  • @Lackmind It was alive!

  • We're gonna miss Federer.

    This says it all.

  • @Ignozi If you watch the full match you will see that there are more highlights from nadal in the first games....when you don't like my highlights make your own!!!

  • Next time balance out the points a bit.

It doesn't make sense to watch Nadal win every single rally during the first set and yet lose it 6-2.

  • nadals returning was shocking, middle of the court, loopy and nothing on it,murray and djokovic actually takes the return on and miss a few but nadal does these loopers and wins from the baseline,he cant do that against nole, because where once nole forehand was a big weakness now it is a point ender, nadal is feeling like fed now gettiong his backhand constantly attacked

  • @cascantediego you're right he dominated the match against nadal...but these are highlights and i watch the full match before...there are more winners from nadal in the start, Djokovic outplayed Nadal in the last three sets...So stop saying this video only has point from nadal

  • The old commentater i swear knows nothing of tennis! Federer donest hit overheads well, nadal donest return punishingly? Like to see this guy do better!

  • 09:15 Nalbandian.

  • Amazing , 6 straight games won in the first set even when it was 2-0 for Nadal

  • 13:24 That dannce Rafa does can make him win dancing with the stars ^.^

  • Nadal seems to have lost all the pace on his serve that he was getting.

  • @WorldsTennis24 sorry i cant really sit back

my face is literally hugging my screen with anticipation =D

  • This is a very good video. Great, you are the only won who made good highlights.

  • nadal is a sore loser..he said in press nole didnt improve much.just hitting less errors on both wings and more consistent.but the match stat showed nole hit 22 more UFs than nadal

  • FUCK THIS VIDEO! only nadals points, altough Dj. won the set and match!

    F.Y. author

  • @TheMrkile The guy who made this has an entire channel with Djokovic matches and he just took the most beautiful points, so shut up, dude! And btw, I'm a Nole fan since 2008

  • @Lasjeboy I was comparing with full match and realized that Novak made also great points, but I cant see them at the vid. What was your suporting of Dj. has to do with fact that this video showing only the points of Rafa? your stupid dude....

  • @TheMrkile Nadal had a better Start in this match so there were more Nadals Points in the first minutes...btw you don't have to watch my video if you don't like it

  • Comment removed

  • @WorldsTennis24 No he hasnt had a better start actually Djokovic dominated the match from start to finish, Im with TheMirkile your video actually sucks as NADAL'S ASS

  • @TheMrkile thats not the truth

  • @TheMrkile You are seriously a fucking idiot, just thank the guy already for making this highlights

  • @TheMrkile Your mother or dad clearly never taught you any respect. Don't watch it if you don't like it.

  • @TheMrkile Hey dumbass, these highlights (part 1, part 2) have 30 points from Nadal vs 41 from Djokovic. So stop writing nonsense and enjoy the videos, these are really good highlights. You should apreciate the work done by the author here. :)

  • Novak is invicible this year...

  • @elwingy Indeed. Novak has been invincible!

  • Thank you for this!

  • How the tables have turned!! Flashback to same time last year. Novak threw everything at Rafa at the US Open final, and still couldn't take him to a 5th set - such an amazing year Rafa was having. Completely the opposite this time!! Some of the shot making, rallies and athleticism was just out of this world! Novak owned Rafa this year, and how!!

  • Comment removed

  • Great qualitty. Djokovic really owns Nadal.

  • NOLE!!!!

    The guy owns Rafa :))

  • @TheFedererNadallover owns? It's a four set match, not that one-sided, and on top of that it's not like Rafa isn't giving him a hell of a fight in every rally. Just about every one is in excess of ten shots.

  • @imavaughanstar yeah.... when people say Nadal owns Federer when the matches are dependent on a couple of points here and there surely Djokovic-Nadal matches aren't half as close.. 6 2 1st set , 6 1 4th set ? That's a beating my man.

  • @TheFedererNadallover what 'other people say' doesn't mean shit: look at the games. In the Miami final in the last set, Nadal was two points away from breaking to take a 3-1 lead, which no doubt would have changed that match entirely. In the Wimbledon final, the first set was what's to be expected when two players of that standard meet: they basically try just to hold serve until its 4-4 then they try to up their game. 2nd and 3rd sets were one-sided, one for Djoko and the other for Rafa.

  • @imavaughanstar Miami was the only close match ... Madrid, Rome and Wimbledon were all Djokovic , Indian Wells and the USO were relatively close... but still Djokovic won comfortably in the end~

  • @TheFedererNadallover idiot, I just said it to you right from the start. Look at the rallies. Do you see how many shots Novak is having to hit, just how perfectly he is having to hit them, to stop Nadal? That's a close match. When Lleyton Hewitt was asked what he thought, he said he had 'never seen anything like the playing the two of them exhibited on the day'. Clearly he observed what any intelligent person would: those rallies were all very intense.

  • @imavaughanstar ur the fukin idiot here who says that the matches were close.. in reality .. THEY WERE NOT!!

  • @imavaughanstar actually those forehands of djokovic is very safe cuz he add alot of topspin, he is wise not to flatten out his forehand against nadal which will increase errors. The flat backhand is the winning shot against nadal. Only this shot is needed to counter nadal's mono tennis. Djoko reserve this short top spin fh specially for nadal only, not against other players.

  • @youziness I never said that they weren't? I just said the rallies were long? And bear in mind whilst Djokovic has no real problems with Rafa's spinny serves, they have been the bane of Federer's existence for years.

  • @imavaughanstar the difference is djoko can break nadal anytime he wishes with this kind of WTA serve. Djoko is not afraid of going a break down due to some rare errors.

  • cheers for the upload :)

  • Wow!!!!!
