oh please... republicans want votes counted ?? are u kidding ?? like when they stopped the recount in FL when Gore was winning or like they are doing now to limit voters with new voting laws in hopes of restricting democrat voter turnout ? what a bunch of right wing bull
What nonsense! There was an election and a re-count and every properly cast vote was counted. Now Norm wants to count 11,000 absentee ballots, that have been rejected TWICE, first on election day and then as part of a Supreme Court ordered review. At first Coleman only wanted the 3 judge panel to look at 650 ballots. When he realized he still couldn't win, he changed his claim to look at all 11,000 absentee ballots. Originally Norm opposed counting absentee ballots.
What crime has he commited? Why spread all this misinformation. At first your hero Franken wanted all absentee ballots counted, legal or not, and now that he is ahead he does not want any more counted. Or is that different?
That's not what happened and your attempt to call Franken "his hero" is a strawman argument made to make him seem absurd when in reality you can't actually make any convincing arguments because you know you're wrong and must insult the other person's character to appear right.
Also, just wanna emphasize again that that absentee ballot thing isn't at all what happened and you'd be laughed out of any kind of publicly held debate.
It is exactly what happened. Franken continued to downplay state law on what was a properly or not properly rejected ballot, so much as trying to get Hennepin county to push 400+ ballots in their count that had been rejected.
Not too concerned about your opinion of my debate skills, I could take you on any day.
Never threw out the cheating and patrotism words. The only thing I hear these days that is Patriotic is voting for trillion dollar pork bills.
I have no desire or need to impress you with my knowledge. My reference to Hennpin county was a factual reference from the Star Tribune on an instance that occured prior to the first certification in November.
I'd like a bullet-point list of what's "pork" in that bill. I want you to show me things in that list that won't create jobs and won't stimulate spending. Since you think that so much of the bill is full of pork, you shouldn't have trouble listing at least 5 things not satisfying those conditions, would you?
My bet is you'll be indicted before you can get your first paycheck from the Lobbyist job you accepted last week. And no Bush pardon to bail you out. Four words for you: Soap-On-A-Rope.
Since the absentee ballots as a whole went largely for Franken, I doubt Coleman would be happy even if all 12000 ballots were counted. It would also result in the same double counting in some instances that Coleman is loudly protesting in another aspect of his suit.
Pathetic. The candidates were properly advised to keep their mouths shut during this process. Their lawyers and video producers should be given the same instructions. Argue in court, but otherwise shut up!!!!

You mean like your hero Norm who fakes website crashes and exposes his donors private and credit card information for all the world to see?
dancefan62 2 years ago 2
You have some evidence that Norm "faked" a crash and purposely exposed anyone's information?

Leave it to the Dems to count and recount and recount (including fraudulent ballots) then declare victory when they are in the lead.

So at first this criminal wants nothing more than that my absentee ballot *not* be counted, and now he feigns concern that it not be *rejected*??
Former Senator Coleman, you insult the intelligence of Minnesotans. Good Riddance!

What was he convicted of?

Nothing yet . . . so - in all fairness - though he's a criminal, he's not yet a convict. :-)

A Democrat wanting to count improperly rejected ballots = CHEATING
A Republican wanting to keep those improperly rejected ballots = PATRIOTISM
Just throwing out the name of a county doesn't make you knowledgeable.

Normy, you're toast. You ought to be preparing for the corruption trial that's gonna land your ass in jail, not this one.
kyoty58 3 years ago 4
Don't you have some Republican Jewish lobby to work for that you got hired by Norm?
Also what about your attempts to block all the absentee ballots from being counting during the original recount? This stinks of rank hypocrisy.

Like Franken's hypocracy of counting all votes - until the vote total is in his favor?
Namzso1 3 years ago
Except he wants to keep rightfully rejected ballots, rejected. Whoops.
BlackKnight03 3 years ago
So did Al. It just depends who is in the lead.
