@H0ll0wz Where do you see the lag? The game ran constantly in 30 fps when I recorded the video and when not playing it runs constantly in 55-90 fps. If you refer to the slow motion effects, it's part of the game.

@RevelationsOfGenesis If you are gonna do video editing or 3D rendering like in Maya or 3D Studio Max you benefit from the six cores. No games uses six cores today and it will probably take long time before they do. Not many games today uses 4 cores either nut they are getting there. The Phenom II X4 is also much cheaper.

The quad core is better then the dual core but it also depends on the game or program you run. The game or program will run faster on the quad core if it can use all 4 cores in the quad core. To date there is no game that uses 4 cores. Video editing and 3d rendering programs are mostly made to use all cores.

Hey i got a question.. how have u got working that xp x64 on ur system.. like how u found all ur drivers?? and doesn't games get laggy or u get blue screen of death never? :O

Yes when I had Windows XP x64 edition I found all the drivers of it, was no problem at all. And I never had a Blue Screen. And no games didn't get laggy in any way. Only time I got Blue Screen was when I overclocked my cpu to high. I tried to overclock it to 3.8Ghz.

hmm okay.. i have xp x64 burned to my cd and thought that should i install it or just use this xp pro 32bit version.. im little bit afraid of that can i get drivers etc. on what site u downloaded drivers? coz u cant use ur 32bit cd's (which u get with motherboard)?

I downloaded the drivers from my motherboard manufacturer (Gigabyte) for Windows XP x64. The rest of the drivers like for my multi function scanner/copier/printer I got from the manufacturer(Canon) . The Soundcard drivers for Audigy SE works on all versions of Windows. If you have less then 4GB ram there is no point in switching to a 64bit operating system.

Windows XP x64 does not boot faster then Windows XP 32bit. And games wont run faster only load faster if the game is 64bit. If the game is 32bit you wont notice any difference. The benefit with 64bit Windows is that you can have more then 4GB ram and that makes games less laggy because Windows doesn't have to swap out data to the swapfile on your hard drive as much as it has to with Windows XP. And the 2GB limit for application memory usage is gone in 64bit Windows.

Well to be on the safe side I would go for Windows 7 64bit. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and no problems with any drivers for it.

I have already tried win7 ultimate 64bit version :D i didnt like it... boot was waaay too slow compared to xp.. and i got many BSODs when playing game :( vista ultimate 64bit is the only one that i havent tried :D but im not going to ever try it

Windows 7 6.1.7600 RTM(release to manufacturing) is the version being sold to the public so it's the correct version. Did you do a memory test in windows 7 to check the memory for errors like ManniMann1986 says? Have you overclocked your cpu or anything else in your computer?

No i didnt check my memory with anykind of test :S ..what test? And i dont have any OC on my cpu or other parts.. if i remember right.. the BSOD usually said something about memory when it popped into my screen..

Windows 7 has a built memory test program that you can launch from the boot meny when you pressed F8 before the boot screen shows, you know the boot screen with the windows flag. To get to the memory test program select repare the computer form the boot men then follow the instructions that follows.

windows 7 64 is the way to go for the better gaming experience overall. xp dosent utilize cores as well as 7, and dosent make use of sitting ram.
