I think "Departure" is probably the finest song she's sung in recent years, unless I've missed any of her rep (which is possible). It's certainly the strongest material for her particular talents that she's been associated with since "The Ballad of Little Jo." I'm not as big of a fan of her forays into Laura Nyro and Joni MItchell territory, but obviously it means a lot to her, which counts for something.
I don't believe this has been formally recorded. Kuhn also sings it on The Jeff Blumenkrantz Podcast. What you don't see here as you did seeing Kuhn sing in an intimate venue, is the light change occurring at the end, when the character (contemplating throwing herself to death in the nearest ditch) is interrupted by the real world ..in concert, at that pull back into reality, there's a wonderful light change to signify the character's moving from her internal monologue into the present
work on it. a bit sacharrin.. but ok.. you must speak it,. more than sing it,. then sing it.. know what I mean?

Technically proficient but it seemed to lack emotive content so came across a bit sterile. Let yourself go....

you can always download the youtube video (or any other) and then convert from video to audio, whether mp3, aac, wav, etc.
