Random comment- try a speaker with a 92db sensitivity at 2000 watts vs one with 98db sensitivity at 700watts. I'm a big fan of speaker efficiency and the peavey black widow 15 as a sub :-)

No, an average 15 inch sub with handle 4000watts, a single 15 is loud but not enough to make you cover you ears.

Dude for an actual good 4000w RMS sub youd dish out like over 20 grand so i dont know what youd be comparing this to. The best sub iv ever heard was a JL Gotham and its about 16 grand canadian. It was 3800w RMS. And i dont think you have one ;)

No, it really won't handle 4000 rms. And by the way, try cranking 700 watts into a 15, and 4x10s, and see what happens. I have hearing damage now =)

they have a circut board teh dc is ran from an internal system not off the systems speaker wire even tho u can make a led light run of a speaker port u can actually make any light work with it just a matter of the power it can cause it to eithe rburn out or frie a led from over heating so itspointless without somethign to controll the power its being given

@cerwinvegav152 LED's will Light on Alternating Current....they will light on every half cycle though....which means if you connect an LED to a 60 Hz Source the LED will Flicker on and off at that Frequency for example.

Hey, I have these too (Sharp CD-ES777, right?) and get no sound out of the middle tweeter on both speakers. The top tweeter and the bottom woofer both work normally. Do you get the same problem? The instructions (and internet) say they're 3-way speakers, but I only get 2-way.

the middle tweeter simply puts out vary high notes and almost everysong around doesnt use them but mine do work im sure urs do to u jsut dont have any songs that it can run with

Just tried a tone sweep and still don't hear any output all the way through to 14KHz. I can't seem to hear anything higher than that, unless that's where that middle tweeter is supposed to come in, which it isn't. I had the volume set very very low so I could put my ear right next to it (top tweeter was still very hearable, so I covered it with my hand) - maybe it's volume-activated or something?
