In Britain, abortion has been legal for years. We've found that it's all down to sex education, if the child is provided with good sex eduction, especially girls then the chances of that child in adult life abroting a child reduce significantly. The NHS doesn't allow late term abortions unless the doctors agree that the child will either have a very short life, or is so servely disabled that it will be unfair. In the US you should think about child sex eduction, it would solve a lot of problems.

I really appreciate the longing to resolve every dispute with rational words, and I have seen such words work miracles, but I have concluded it is wishful thinking that such words will reach every hard heart. Search "hear" and "fear" in the Bible for a list of capital offenses and God's reasoning: that people will hear of it, and be afraid to repeat those offenses: in other words, many do respond to reasoning; the rest respond to action. Abortion is not murder. There's a legal definition of murder and abortion doesn't fit the definition. For one thing, it is not "unlawful killing." Another thing is that it is not "intentional." It is also not "premeditated." There's argument over whether the not born is a "human being." During the Roe v Wade Supreme Court hearings the question of whether the not born is a "human being" was extensively discussed. See online documents from the Roe v Wade case.

In Britain, abortion has been legal for years. We've found that it's all down to sex education, if the child is provided with good sex eduction, especially girls then the chances of that child in adult life abroting a child reduce significantly. The NHS doesn't allow late term abortions unless the doctors agree that the child will either have a very short life, or is so servely disabled that it will be unfair. In the US you should think about child sex eduction, it would solve a lot of problems.

I do believe women have more sense than to risk their own injury or even death like this. Abortion is not murder. There's a legal definition of murder and abortion doesn't fit the definition. For one thing, it is not "unlawful killing." Another thing is that it is not "intentional." It is also not "premeditated." There's argument over whether the not born is a "human being." During the Roe v Wade Supreme Court hearings the question of whether the not born is a "human being" was extensively discussed. See online documents from the Roe v Wade case.

The crazy hypocritical part of this is that the people who honor Scott Roeder are the same people who want to place Federal Troops into gang neighborhoods in Chicago to let loose open season on gangsters. Church is the perfect place to kill someone. No one checks you when you come in. No one is watching the crowd except for the preacher. Walk up shoot them and make your way out. No one can defend against you since they are unarmed(unless they tackle you). Also, where is the mighty God on this one. This happened in his house, guess he wasn't home!

Continuing from my previous post, abortion should also be illegal for two more reasons. We know when life begins. Anyone who has taken a biology course knows life begins at conception and if you don't know that, you're kidding yourself. Also, the laws are inconsistent. In NC, it is illegal to smash a sea turtle egg, but abortion is legal. In many states, murdering a pregnant woman is a double homicide. The laws are very inconsistent on the issue of Life.
