After my dad died in April of this year we found out that my sister was pregnant, it was a light at the end of a very dark time, My sister gave birth on 17 Sept 08 to a beautiful little girl but the devistating things was that she was still born and our 'little ray of sunshine' had gone out!!!!

This song has a great significance for me.

My daughter was 6 months old when I first saw her.

We were together for some twenty years.

Now she has married and found her biological father.

As the father of two girls (ages 5 and 6) they are indeed my sunshine. I was once a "love at first sight" skeptic. I am not anymore. The rush of emotion that rushed through my body the moment I laid eyes on them was truly love at first sight. One might even say "it hurt so good."
