Pretty much all of his songs were about people roasting alive in Hell; yeah, that's pretty damn dark! The keyboardist makes Jon Lord sound like effin' Liberace.
@DRGasMoney i am into metal but this is pure fuking madness even ozzy ahve to do a cover of this to my screaming jay artur brown king dimanod on the black roses and alice copper this is throots of darkness metal is ok but this is just plain evil man beyon metal
Vincent was there for sure. I think Carl Palmer joined the band after their USA tour in 1969 (correct me if I'm wrong). Before Carl the drummer was Drachen Theaker. So it is Drachen you can hear on this recording.
Drachen was really addicted to drugs and they say he couldn't keep the tempo (but I can't hear that at all) and Vincent was fed up with him. Arthur had choice - to keep Vincent or Drachen. Vincent stayed and the new drummer was Carl.
brill this, thanks, arthur and me talked many times b4 gigs, I even recorded them from 72 on , but after transferring them to 7 inch tape threw them away. arghhh.
the greatest live footage ive ever heard, especially from arthur brown!!! thank you so much for sharing...regards

Terrific stuff, this! Was Vincent Crane still in the band at this time? Carl Palmer, too?
