Kill the fishes after landed on the boat. By using a rod, hit them at the head. This prevent them from secreating an emyzme while they are struggling in a life threatening situation. The emyzme makes their meat taste weird. Try it nex time and you'll find the fishes taste better. Believe me I am a fish angler and my experience too. I'm not talking mercy here.
