@Wallimann Yes, that was the route I decided to take. Too many issues with slowing down the video and the audio is what I'm after regardless. Thanks for the reply. :)
C'etait une question de perception. Quand je changes le pitch pour une chanson, la voix change beaucoup et j'avais l'impression que la vitesse changait aussi.
Mais j'ai tout juste confirme que tout marche chouette.
Another cool feature with the tuning tab is when playing along with tracks that have been mastered just out of concert pitch, you can tune the track to your guitar with the fine tune slider - ive found this to be very helpful. Also, if you hold alt whilst selecting a part on the waveform, you can snap to your markers.
good tutorial. can you tell/show the next stap after isolating and changing pitch etc.? how do you go then to having actually notes on paper? you use other software? please explain/tell me. thanks
@Wallimann hi, thanks for replying. can you advise on the software? sibelius is too expensive for me. intelliscore does something. i don't have experience with that. what do you think?
i bought this program and really like it ,one thing that would be nice is to have it where you can split sections without having to drag to highlight the selection . in sound forge that is a great feature ,its faster to just double click in the sections between the markers rather than drag from one point to another ,im not sure if it can be done with transcribe but if it did it would be super !
is there a option to completely remove the bass, singing and drums so that im left with just guitar?Im using the software now its brilliant much better then using tabs. its mint how you can slow down it down. im transcribing a billy talent tune and loving it :)
Hi David, Hey thanks for the very helpful tutorial! I just downloaded the free trial yesterday and all of you guys have helped me gain a better understanding of what Transcribe! does. I am working on some Jazz tunes currently. I play Bass. Right now I am trying to figure out the "Record" feature. I have some vinyl I need to get put into Transcribe! Any help with that would be appreciated. Thanks again! Kurt
I am glad that you highlighted this Transcribe tool. I have been using other slow-downers which were helpful. This one is leaps ahead and supports the things I need to do to rip a lick. For example Brad Paisley's Welcome to the Future is a current pursuit. Removing the Bass helped a lot. The Chord Guesses are sweet. Nice ! very Nice !
Yeah, you have to be careful about tab online. A lot of it is either impossible to figure out or all wrong to begin with. Stick with a reputable publisher like Mel Bay. BTW, whatever happened to OLGA?
hey does this thing can be useful for drummers that would like to use playalong methods? or there's any different software for play alongs? help me!!
kubsun 6 days ago
@kubsun I don't think you would get the results you want with that. Unfortunately I can't think of any other software that would either...

Salut, Tu parles francais?
I just bought Transcribe. But when I change the pitch the speed chnages too.
Please advise how I can change the picth independently of the speed.
Merci Beaucoup!

@tigger77able Salut! Oui, je suis Français. :-)
C'est bizarre, tu utilises le petit icone en dessous à gauche de la fenetre principale pour changer le tempo?
Pour moi ca marche nickel...
Wallimann 9 months ago
@RayDheartpower Hmmm.. Not sure, I haven't used that feature much.
But there are a few mixing settings you can play with I think within the software...

@olekike You would need another software. This doesn't o the transcription directly, just helps you speed down the track you are working with. :-)

@olekike If you are looking for a soft that would write your tab directly from an audio file, you won't find any...
For creating tabs, I use Guitar Pro 6. :-)

@handtricks I love the soft too.
I'm pretty sure you can set your markers throughout the song and just double click on the desired sections..

Thanks for your help with the product. Your video is informative. The program has a free trial. How can you lose? It's a sure thing.

@DarkChiiTheme That keyboard helps you determine the notes played. But that feature works best with monophonic themes. I haven't used it much...

I was trying to transcribe the guitar solo Steve Vai does at the beginning of "For the Love of God" in Minnesota on the G3 tour of 96'.
I got 90% of it done, but that was just the notation, finding the frets he was burning is nigh impossible.... @_@

xD
Is this software capable of transcribing faster than mach 1? o.0

Transcribe won't transcribe automatically, but I think the tools provided are awesome.

@EstevanMusic You could try to see which fret he is on when watching the video and mess around with it while using Transcribe
