How come both Cspan and some newspapers are reporting that gingrich is the winner, when they also show 1% of the votes has been counted. That is just insane. The link on cspan say that "three networks have declared" that newt gingrich has won the S.C first-in-the-south primary.

Educated people who do their own research vote one way, and the others (i vote who I'm told to vote for) vote the other. I know people are taught to vote and oh let your voice be heard, and other BS like that, but whats the point in voting if your just voting for the sake of voting? Its like putting names in a hat and picking one. If your going to take the 5-30 minutes to go and vote at least take 5 and research the candidates.
