  • The dying thief rejoiced to see that fountain in his day...MERCY! Praise God!

  • everyone please pray for me though I got saved back in july I still have some issues i need to work out(lust and laziness being the big ones)

  • As in the desert, when they struck the rock of Horeb, and waters came gushing out of it, so the living water gushes out of Jesus, the Rock of our salvation, the head cornerstone that the builders rejected. As a shadow of the Gospel, the Great Pyramid of Giza (which never had hieroglyphs in it, with tributes to worldly kings) stands as the Gospel set in stone, lacking a head cornerstone, the spiritual rock which the freemasons seek to replace with their counterfeit.

  • thanks for putting the vid up and have a good christmas and all the best for 2012

  • @Emillaset he is beyond description.... absolutely indescribably great.

    he has saved us from a fate worse than death, eternal suffering. saved us from our sin. saved us from ourselves......

  • How great is our God! how amazing, that man could attempt to show a world that needs something tangible to see and can yet still not believe... Amen-Let It Be So. He has saved us, payed the debt for us if we would but ask and repent. Oh How GREAT is our God?

  • @browntr95 how great is he? And what has he saved us from?

  • @Emilaset You would not even exist without his power and ingenuity. The mechanisms of the biological world could not have arisen by blind chance. When you realize that Jesus is the one that makes life possible, you come to the insight that he owns you. He is without sin, and in his kingdom there cannot be any sin. Let the blood of Jesus cover your sins, and give you everlasting life. The wages of sin is death, but he paid your penalty, and gave you hope thru his resurrection..

  • @joroma77 I exist because of evolution. I read it in a book. You read your story in a book. And neither of us can prove it.

  • In addition to the scene of the thief on the cross, another scene that is so heart-wrenching is the one of the Roman soldier. Just try to imagine what he actually felt, in additiion to repentence, as the blood and water was spraying into his face. I wonder how he would describe it. That scene is so awesome. Praise to our Precious Jesus Christ for His mercy. May God touch the hearts of all who watch this video and others like it.

  • I once had lost faith and turned from all that God has taught me. But, God's great mercy endured and by his grace I was led back to him. I cannot express in words how greatful I am for God's unmeasurable love. God is no respector of persons. If he would lead me back to him then he is willing to lead all who had turned away back to his grace. Please, do not put it off. If you have lost faith, for your sake, Please return back to Jesus.

  • Why would someone dislike such a lovely and heavenly song?? The devil is indeed at work!!

  • เพราะมากเลยครับ

    this is a very great song, make me realize to the love of Jesus

  • 3:20 One day, ALL believers burial cloths will depress like that as we are called home to be with the King for ever never to have to taste death or sin again. Amen to that x10.

  • I find the scene with the thief to be the most powerful. He admits his sins and never denied that he didn't deserve his punishment. All he asks Christ is to forgive him and that he remembers him. Jesus forgave him and honored his humbleness with the greatest reward: Paradise. If Jesus could forgive a man who had done so much wrong, he can forgive us. I cry every time to that part.

  • He's coming soon for His own as this world writhes in birth pains. Are you ready?

  • I haven't listened and watched this video in a long time though it's on one of my playlists. Thank you so much for making this video! It so touches me deep in my heart. I love the song, I love Selah and I love Passion of The Christ though I cry my heart out everytime I watch it. God bless you.

  • I think you did a great ,very moving video. I saw the Passion twice. There is so much I didnt' see due to crying and having my eyes closed at times that I couldn't watch. I dont remember some of this and it is important. Thank you . It is very special what you picked out. and the words on screen , wonderful!

  • Like the hymn, but it's hardly "ancient."

  • @taggartks It was written before 1800 by William Cowper. I would say that qualifies as ancient...though maybe not as ancient as some others say from the 1600's....

  • Lovely video. Thank God for paying the price for us so that we can live.

    Need urgent help, see willann54 Miracle Prayer.

  • Love this viedo....It really touches the heart! Reminds us just what a price was paid for our salvation. Redeeming Love! Won't go into the Catholic spin from the film ....HOWEVER Messiah Yeshua(Jesus the English translation) is Jewish, not Catholic!! Just to set the record straight!

    Our Savior is Jewish, he lived a Jewish life, he worshiped in a Jewish way. kept the feast of the Lord etc. When he comes back to get his Reedemed, and rule the Earth from Jerusalem, Israel... not Washington DC

  • Yes... Redeeming love has been my theme, and shall be till I die. God's love is real. This a good Video with great hymn. It touch my heart.

  • IF YOU ARE WANTING MORE HELP WITH THIS READ , James and see what he shares with believers also read the psalms and PAUL's wrtings it is filled with all the help you will need but if you refuse to read and see this then so be it.!!!!!!

  • And all who always think they are being judged should take an count that maybe your life has something that the Lord is bringing to your attention but if you think not then just remember what Our Lord said they refuse to come to the knowledge lest their actions are made known they will hate you just as they hated me, and yes it is written come to one another and confess your faults one to another so there is no spirit of error in you in following the truth !!

  • beyond the physical pain suffered by our LORD, it was the heavy, heavy burden of sin that fell upon him that was the REAL crux of the issue. Sin that separates us from God, the sin that dooms us to everlasting hellfire that Christ took upon himself to save us from. The problem with the movie is that it emphasises too much on the graphic scenes of torture and not enough on the gospel.

  • @kokede I agree in part I think the horror of sins he had to carry and the fact that He felt separation from the Father was worse than the physical pain. He who knew no sin or guilt had every sin ever committed poured upon Him. No wonder He fell in the garden ,sweat blood, and even asked for the cup to be removed. He even had to have an angel help Him. no angels helping on the cross or during all His physical tortures. But the movie is about what He went through for us. That is the Gospel.

  • The Bible fully described how simple it is to be saved unto everlasting life.. #1- REPENT ( turn; make a U turn) from sin and turn to Jesus, knowing that He alone is perfect, righteous, holy, truth, the Son of God and #2- BELIEVE trust in Jesus alone, knowing that He is Savior & Lord. Trust in no one but Jesus.. Do not pray to anyone but Jesus.. Only Jesus died on the Cross to set us free! What a wonderful, loving Savior is He. Blessings to all in His name.

  • Lord, I need you now

  • Jesus told the thief that today you will be with Me in paradise. Today! Because the thief repented, he was saved into eternal life. So simple. No rituals. the thief saw that Jesus was the LORD. Jesus said " It is finished". He accomplished what God said to pay the penalty for our sins once and for all. The moment we are saved/ redeemed/ justified, we are eternally secure. What a blessing, the ultimate Gift, we could ever receive. Freedom from death and life forever more in Heaven =Jesus

  • @pauljohn788  -- ABSOLUTELY!!! :-)

  • @pauljohn788 True. And of great importance also, is that he did not repent from any sins, but repented towards Jesus. My body will be sinful until it dies (or sleeps) but I try to make an effort to die daily from my wicked desires. But who am I but a hypocrite, right? Someone who knows that there is a God, someone who has seen the power of the name of the Lord, and yet let this world overcome me, in spite of the fact that my sinful life has rendered me depressed, empty and lonely.

  • This video would be better without the singing. beacuse the words would have a better penetration into the mind allowing for more feeling from one's heart to take place. The music takes away from that. Nice filming though.

  • Amazing song

  • (Hebrews 9:14) how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from dead works so that we may serve the living God!

  • Amazing how our God greatly suffered for our sake..

  • i'm encouraged by songs like these

  • Judge not unless you be judged

  • I listen to these videos while at my desk, entering reports on people that should be listening. I deal with people who have no hope or clue as to what they're going to do in the future, or where they are going. The songs help me to remember who's in charge. Thank ya'll, keep up the good work

    Sgt. on patrol

  • amen to all that..does anybody think about all these images tho. I enjoy them too and i do not bow to them...but its been braught up alot around me that this is against the ten commandments to put a face on god when we have not seen his face. now tru enuff we have seen his character, which can be expressed in images in a face...i dont wanna be redicullously legalistic but maybe the muslims are right about this one little issue...

  • (Hebrews 9:14) How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

    (Hosea 10:12) Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground. For it is time to seek Jehovah, until He comes and rains righteousness on you.

  • @TotalDeadEnd, just out of curiosity, have you ever heard the life story of William Cowper, the author of this hymn? It's very intriguing.

  • he was bruised for our transgressions....worthy is the lamb forever and ever more

  • Wow, this video was brilliantly put together! I felt the anointing just from watching it. Thank you and may God bless you for your testimony!

  • didnt hear a word of the song

  • YESHUA -

    No other Name

    No other Sacrifice

    No other Hope

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    I just love where the Roman soldier falls to his knees at the foot of the cross, by the power of the precious blood...and in that moment, I believe, the Holy Spirit witnessed to his heart that in Yeshua, the blessed Lamb of God, was the only true hope and peace for all of mankind.....
  • we ought not to judge but we have the great comission to fulfill, telling people about the only way to God wich is Jesus Christ amen.
  • For those who are unaware, the main prayers of the Rosary are:
    Oh my Jesus, forgive us of our sins, Save us from the fires of hell. Lead all souls into heaven but especially those in most need of thy mercy.
    Glory be to the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end, Amen
  • For those who are unaware, the main prayers of the Rosary are:
    .........From thence he shall come to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints,the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. amen
  • For those who are unaware, the main prayers of the Rosary are:
    The Apostles Creed- I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth and in Jesus Christ his only son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of The Virgin Mary suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, he rose again from from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father, Almighty....................
  • @jf19662000
    Jesus Christ WAS the Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God does not a Wife to have a son. ALL the Fullness of God was in Christ. Remember that.
    The Apostles Creed is a man-made false Catholic doctrine.
    Read your bible and You will see that the apostles showed us the NAME(not names) of the Father, son, and Holy SPirit.
    Acts 2:38
  • If you've shared your faith in Jesus Christ with someone, will you write to me about it? I'm working on a project to encourage others to share their faith, thank you.
    Send an email to me at ThePastorsStudy1@yahoo.com
  • What a gorgeous voice. So pure, so profound, so holy. Thank you Nicole!
  • Ohhh, I just love this...I could just listen over and over.....but I am asking you, if you are BLOOD-BOUGHT and BORN AGAIN, to PLEASE share this on FACEBOOK and
    wherever else you can and pray that God will use it to bring the lost to Himself. You just NEVER know who God will cause to come see it and open their hearts to the love and mercy of God. This is such a beautiful video and the song is so beautifully done....Please post this as often as you are able to!!!
  • Were it not for the blood of my precious Lord, my soul would face certain death. I am blessed because he loved me enough to stretch open his arms and die for my sins. Then to prove his love further he returned from the grave to now prepare a place for me with him one day. Glory to the Lamb of God.
  • a bit gory...yes.
  • THANK YOU LORD! THANK YOU! THE PERFECT SACRIFICE! THE PERFECT LAMB OF GOD! THANK YOU LORD FOR GIVING YOUR LIFE, ON THE CROSS, AT CALVARY! FOR OUR ALL OF OUR SINS! PRAISE YOUR HOLY NAME!     Andy Logan
    aplogansr "dot" com
  • awsome simply amazing yes the song yes but mostly what the song represents and thats what Jesus did praise the Lord he gave his life
  • an amazing video. none of us can know the pain Jesus suffered on that cross, but we can know that He paid the price for us.
  • This is a really powerful song, and as we watch this video we are reminded of what Jesus sacrificed for us! He took every last sin from us and died for us, to save us so we can have eternal life! Praise you Lord for what you have done!!
  • bit . ly/jerku
  • im ayoung person who truly loves the old gospel
    i never felt the song as much as i do now
    this version is so diff
    thanks to whosoever posted this
    God truly used in one way
  • Very powerful video!
  • Were you there when they crucified my Lord? Sometimes it causes me to tremble, when I think, how they crucified my Lord....
  • Thank you.
  • There is NOTHING worse than not accepting the sacrifice that Christ willingly suffered for us. Besides God's Word says in Hebrews 10:26: For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins (NASB). This is a video very well needed to show people the horrid torture of Jesus for YOU and ME!
  • This is so good. Thanks for editing this moving. piece.
  • thank's LORD, love you.. :)
  • JESUS is GOD ALLELUJAH
  • PRAISE GOD! Good song and video put together!!!
  • Thank You JESUS for the Precious Blood that You shed for me on Calvary! Hallelujah!
  • 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
    15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
    16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
    17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3
  • Great song,, does anyone know the version of this song that has isaiah 53 in it. i like that one better.
  • Why spend time downing others beliefe when everyone should not judge and be more concerned about there own relationship with God. No matter what others may do or so it is not for us to Judge anyone remember that
  • @crawl29
    An examole of judging would be to call names or point fingers. No one is judging anyone here. Just because we don't believe what you do does not mean we are judging you.
  • @TotalDeadEnd It's ok to judge, we are commanded by scripture to "judge rightly". In the same chapter that Jesus says "judge not lest ye be judged" a few verses later he says, concerning false teachers, "you will recognize them by their fruit". You have to judge in order to determine weather it is bad fruit or good fruit. The unreasonable judging refers to our own selfish judgment. If we use scripture to judge rightly we can rest assured that God is pleased.
  • @TotalDeadEnd - ur exactly right! And ya know, i hate it when people say "The Bible says Don't judge!"...because not only if they looked up the original Hebrew would they find that it actually means "don't judge others' SALVATION" but they would also find that if they read the rest of that verse they would read "don't judge according to the WORLD'S standards" - meaning: if we "judge" or rather "hold others accountable" according to God's Word then it's not passing judgement it's holding others..
  • @crawl29
    i hope by now you have turned to a Christian,turn away from your religion and turn to Christ and Christ alone!
  • @TotalDeadEnd
    Amen
  • @TotalDeadEnd Amen, Unmerited, Undeserved. Unearned. Jesus is so amazing.
  • @crawl29
    I spend the time because people need to know the truth of the Word of God. Paul told Timothy to correct, rebuke, encourage and preach the Gospel. (2 Timothy 4: 2)
    According to the Bible, Salvation is found in Christ alone. (Acts 4: 12, Philippians 2: 9-11)
    No one here is judging Catholics. We're simply disagreeing with what the Catholic church says about Mary.
  • @TotalDeadEnd - ...sorry, didn't have enough room - ...it's holding others accountable. If people are offended by The Truth, then it's THEIR problem. I'm so glad you didn't shy away when that person mentioned "don't judge" because usually when someone says those words to a Christian, the Christian backs down like they've been defeated...so from one Jesus lover/follower to other: Thank you, good job, and Hashem yevarech otcha!! (Hebrew for God Bless You)
  • Which is what exactly? What does the Catholic Church teach about Mary? How does any teaching they give contradict the scripture you quoted? Jesus is the only path to salvation and The Catholic Dogma says that absolutely.
  • @TotalDeadEnd Also, When Paul went to Jerusalem to confirm that the Gospel He preached and what the other Apostles were preaching were in unison, he did not bend the truth AT ALL. " Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in—who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus,so that they might bring us into slavery— to them we did not yield in submission even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you" (GAL 2:4-5).
  • @TotalDeadEnd It is characteristic of the post-modern philosophical thought found in the West, that we often are bowed to the thought that we are being confrontational or judgmental if we stand for God’s truth unwaveringly. I am so grateful that Christ did not conceal the truth because it would be controversial. Stand for the truth of God; that which is found in Scripture. We must not be conformed to the world's philosophies, but rather to the mind of God, as found in Scripture.
  • @TotalDeadEnd
    Amen!!!
    Its about the Catholic system no the catholic people...
    Glory Be To God!!!
  • @TotalDeadEnd i totally stand and agree with you ;-)
  • Such an amazing song. I love to hear Selah sing it.
  • christtheking...-read 1timothy 2:5 - which reads...for there is ONE MEDIATOR between God and men, the man CHRIST JESUS.
    romans 5:1...-Therefore being JUSTIFIED by FAITH we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
    Psalm 146:3..- Put NOT your trust in princes, nor in the son of MAN in whom there IS NO HELP.
    psalm 145:18..-the LORD is nigh unto them that call upon HIM, to all that call upon him IN TRUTH.
    Colossians 1:18...that in ALL THINGS he might have the PREEMINENCE.
    Not MARY!!
  • The only way to the father is through his son Jesus Christ, to whom we give all the glory to. I will always love mary for what she done, but god chose her to fulfill the prophecy. But there is only one way, one truth, and one life. Jesus Christ.
  • @ChristTheKing2010 continuation of my 1st comment 2u..read Romans 8:14...True children of God are those who let God's spirit lead them...also, no1 comes 2 God perfect. We come 2 Him as lost sheep & babies. PEACE & GOD BLESS!!!!
  • ated14,
    I am glad that it bothers you. Why? We cannot understand how ugly and destructive sin really is, and how much God hates it. Jesus took upon Himself the total and complete punishment for sin while He was on the cross. He became a sin offering. What Jesus went through at Calvary is SUPPOSED to bother you. Jesus endured far worse in real life than what Hollywood depicted in this movie.
    Isaiah 53:10a; Yet it was the LORD's will to crush him (Jesus) and cause him to suffer...
  • amen to that
  • @TotalDeadEnd
    AMEN!!!!
  • @TotalDeadEnd AMEN brother!
  • @TotalDeadEnd 1st Corinthians 1:13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? 1st Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1st Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
  • 2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
  • @TotalDeadEnd While what you said it COMPLETELY true (amen!), remember that what Jesus truly did, His true sacrifice of taking the punishment of sinners was something that couldn't be captured on film, acted or otherwise. The gore and blood is gruesome, yes, but it was what happened to Jesus' spirit that heals our infirmities, that brings us back from the grave of our sins. Other martyrs throughout history have suffered more painful and torturous deaths than Jesus! Long live the Lamb!
  • @TotalDeadEnd BEAUTIFULLY SAID, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
  • @ated14 This is what Jesus did for you and me and it was worse than we can imagine so what Jesus did this so we can be forgiven!
  • @ated14 It may be graphic but it was even worse than we can imagine and look at what Jesus did for us He loves us.
  • @ated14 if you can't handle the very sacrifice Jesus made for you then how can you call yourself a christian? you think when they hung Him on the cross you think they did it all nice and pretty?
  • @ated14 , your kids probably watch worse on TV
  • The Passion movie did a good job showing the brutality Jesus' suffered for us. But 1/2 of it was fiction or Catholic tradition stirred in the pot. People get this extra stuff confused with God's truth.
    Read Mel's interviews. He did the movie to honor Mary, not Jesus. His words, not mine. His source was a book by a mystic, not the Bible.
    Jesus' death and resurrection is plenty on it's own. No embellishment needed.
  • @houseguy4, This is True, but then again, we again see God's working hand, he took a movie that was ment to, as you say they said to "honor Mary", and turned it into a movie to Honor and Glorify Him, and to remind us of the Sacrifice and pain he Suffured at the Cross so that we Might we go free, not Marry, not St. Peter, but HIM, because only HE could do it, and he did, all out of Love for me, a Wretched Sinner undeserving of his boundless love.
  • @Torigomaa god bless you.
  • @Torigomaa I understand you comment - God is in charge. He can use anything.
    Let's not forget that the enemy uses truth with a subtle twist to deceive and misdirect. Mel said he was surprised evangelicals liked the movie because it is was not based on the Bible.
    We MUST consider the source and the underlying messages. Many innocent and well meaning Christians know more about The Passion than the Bible.
    Paul reminds us to guard our minds.
  • @houseguy4 brother in christ that movie was almost completely accurate the only thing was the added child seens and him as the carpertner but he wanted us to see even though he was god in the flesh he still experinced life like a human though that wasnt in the bible it did not take from the message of what was done for us on the cross
  • @lilhudnall87 Thanks for ur reply but you have been mistaught. Mel SAID he did not use God's version because he needed "more". A few examples: 1)no snake in the garden 2)Mary mopping blood after whipping=fiction 2)Veronica w/towel is not Biblical=Cath folklore 3)no ESP connection thru floor as Jesus was locked up AND 5)not Biblical that Jesus was locked up 6)tossed over the bridge is fiction 7)tomb headcloth was FOLDED - read John20:7=VERY impt. If you "truly" love Jesus, learn his truth.
  • @houseguy4. Allow me to explain what we Catholics believe about the Blessed Virgin Mary. The more you honor Mary, the more you honor Christ, Her Son. Christ is not offended when we love and Honor His Holy mother. Christ receives all the Glory everytime we honor Mary. God came into the world through Mary and God wills that we go to Him only through His Mother! We are imperfect sinners, who need a Loving Mother to guide, teach, and lead us to Her Son and Lord, Jesus Christ PERFECTLY and INTIMATELY
  • I believe that God could've come in2 dis world He created whichever way He wanted 2. Also the bible talks about how 2 come 2 God & have the free gift of salvation which brings glory 2 His name only through His Son Jesus. Where does it say that we come 2 Him "only" through mary? Read Romans 10: 2-3 & 10:8-15. So in 13-15 that anyone who calls on the Lord & believes will be saved. Also that not "only" through mary can we come 2 Him, but by hearing of Him from those who preach the good news! PEACE!
  • @19saipan80 amen.
  • ChristTheKing2010, in your own words... God wills that we go to him through his mother. You also say that we are sinners and therefore need a mother to guide, teach, and lead us to her son.
    A few questions... how and where does that match up with scripture? Can you give me some passages? The bible says that if anyone sins, he (or she) has an advocate with the Father... Jesus Christ. (1 John 2:1). It does not say Mary. Jesus said that no one can come to the Father except through him....
  • Heb. 7:25 says that Jesus is our intercessor. Also romans 8:27 and romans 8:34. Mary is never mentioned as an intercessor. Nowhere in the bible. What you are talking about here must be against scripture. Therefore saying that Mary is what Jesus is supposed to be... is rejecting the word of God and giving glory to Mary, not Jesus. Then is the cross made of non effect?
  • @ChristTheKing2010 God bless you, but there is only one way, one truth, and one life. Jesus Christ
  • ChristTheKing2010,
    Nowhere in the Bible does it say that we are to pray to or worship Mary. Mary was merely the human woman chosen by God to be the physical vessel for the Christ's birth, nothing more. She was not the human equivalent of the Ark of the Covenant or the Holy of Holies. She was just a woman who loved The Lord and was obedient to His will. The ONLY reason she was even mentioned at all is because she gave physical birth to Him, and she gave birth to other children, as well.
  • @ChristTheKing2010 Yikes! Everything you stated is man-made, priest-talk justification for his man's action, NOT God's Holy Word! Back up your points with Scripture references, not some monk's interpretation.
    Is my wife honored when I keep a girlfriend on the side? Does my wife feel loved when I give GF a diamond bracelet?
    Jesus taught us to pray to the Father, not Mary. I was RCC until age 35. I know all about Mary worship/miracles/appearances - THAT's why I work to get God's truth told.
  • I think"THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST" is the most important film of our lifetime ever!It literally took my breath away,i felt like i was dying!I have seen it 5 or 6 times since then!I was once nearly beaten to death in a county jail for no reason at all,so i definitely identify with this.GOD BLESS SELAH!Their concerts are indescribable!
  • &honestly, the way He rose on the next day nobody really knows cuz nobody was there..&the guards were sleeping..i think that God being mysterious like He is could've either burst out of that tomb like "HERE I AM!! I DID IT!" or He could've slowly, almost majestically, :) shown His accomplishment..i just love the fact that He DID rise again, that's all I care about. As long as Mel Gibson puts it in there, which he did, then this movie IS correct&corresponds with The Bible. just throwin that out
  • actually The Bible says that the soldiers were asleep...and the whole baby thing--Mel Gibson said he was trying to think of anything weird that could B tormentive of Jesus..almost like Satan was saying, "look I'm holding my son in my arms, but look what your father does to you." kinda thing...i think The Passion was done WONDERFULLY..Mel Gibson did a few Catholic twists on it, but who's to say that they DIDN'T happen? I love the movie, i think Mel Gibson did great@getting the main message across
  • ... I mean, do you honestly think that it was at the break of dawn when the stone gently and smoothly rolled back and Jesus folds his bed clothes and then walks out of the tomb naked?? I think not.
    The bible says that there was a earthquake. The soldiers were stunned. It was a amazing event. Probably one that the soldiers had to live with the rest of their life... knowing that what they saw was true, yet they lied so that they would live. And even the pharisees... wanted it that way. Sad.
  • I really like this song and thanks so much for posting it but I must say that I've always thought there was something really weird about the Passion. It must be because Mel Gibson is Catholic. There's just too many weird parts in it. Such as the devil (I assume it was the devil) holding a baby while he's watching Jesus carry the cross. Marry cleaning the blood up from the court... and one of the weirdest parts is the ending...
    The Two Greatest Commandments:Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.Mark 12: 30-31
  • (Countiued form below)
    We are freed from Sin, not removed from it,
  • Strateg68 Just wanted to say, sadly, #2 wont happen. Although when we acssept Jesus into our hearts, and we become new creature in him, no longer chain by sin, by nature we a still sinnerful beings, yes we must do resist the temptations of the world, but we are not nolonger able to sin, Jesus death did not make it so that we can not sin, rather he Died in OUR PLACE for those sins, and Justified of those that we will. We will sin, we are Human, but praise God! we're Forgiven!
  • This is not true. If accepting Jesus resulted in never being able to sin, there would be no Christians that lost their faith.
    When you accept Jesus you simply gain the strength to realize that your actions are sinful, and you have the power to be washed if you believe.
  • I'm literally crying. He went to die for us and each day we take for granit what we have. Praise God!
  • Such a blessing song. God bless you Selah.
  • I agree with you that Jesus is Lord, but as to your comment of "death to all muslims"?  Can you really mean that, if you truly believe the Word of God that says "God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son to die ... that whosoever believed in Him will not perish" My friend, that "whosoever" is me, for I am an ex-muslim, convicted of my sins at the Cross of Christ and now serving Him as a missionary. Do not despise the Lord's work my friend. May the Lord be gracious to you.
