Your capillaries are everywhere in your body, so there's probably a good chance the piercing went through a couple. They just carry blood throughout your body, just as veins would, and when they break that's actually the reason why it bruises. Bruises are ultimately broken capillaries and the purple colour you get is the blood pooling together.
They pretty much explode and bleed anyway, nothing serious though
Does anybody know if my piercing is infected?? The bar feels stuck in my lip piercing and around it is quite hard and crusty. Like, I have to push it out with my Tongue for it to move freely. @ManLykStryda99 no it jus ur swollen pretty big.... make sure the skin on the inside of ur lip doesnt grow over the disk if that was wat u were pierced with..try to switch it to a captive or horse shoe the right size gauge..... and make sure u CLEAN everything b4 hand, during and after :) n move quickly to put the next ring in... ibpor. should slow down swelling..... but see wat a professional says first...

when you left your peircing out for a day and put it back in again and had that stuff come out of it that happened to my ear and it hurt like a bitch from the pressure you had to put on it to get it through and it was both my ears :/
yes i agree. wayyy over-priced. when i took it out one of the things that kept me from it was the price that i got it for. but i took it out any way lol.
@lazybumtot i only had to pay 15 for mine. because of the jewelry. my aunt did mine. as long as i paid for the jewelry, so she got the needles. the shop i got my stud from gave me the wrong gauge, so when she pierced my lip, she had to shove the stud through my lip, and stretch it. it hurt like a fother mucker.
go for it if you really want it! try it out before you graduate college so that gives you some time to think whether you really want it for the rest of your life.
You should never EVER recommend any new piercer to clean the area every other day and apply lotion. It may have been okay for you but some people are more prone to infection and they should clean the outside area 2-3 times a day and clean the inside 2 times with glyoxide or a similar product. Applying lotion too closely to the piercing can disrupt the healing process by clogging it or infecting the area.

i think in this video im not wearing any lip products, there might've been a chapstick over the bare lips. my natural lips on most days tends to be a little red so i'm always trying to tone it down a bit! lol. when you go get it done ask for the "side labret" and as for the jewel id suggest getting a cheap one and just switch it out later so you can save some money! :)

Fortunately my parents thought it was cool, but you really shouldn't.....wait until your 16 and see if you still want it. Piercings are serious.

i'd suggest leaving the original jewelry in for at least two weeks before you change it out. the swelling is normal just odn't play with it too much

@lazybumtot i only had to pay 15 for mine. because of the jewelry. my aunt did mine. as long as i paid for the jewelry, so she got the needles. the shop i got my stud from gave me the wrong gauge, so when she pierced my lip, she had to shove the stud through my lip, and stretch it. it hurt like a fother mucker.

You should never EVER recommend any new piercer to clean the area every other day and apply lotion. It may have been okay for you but some people are more prone to infection and they should clean the outside area 2-3 times a day and clean the inside 2 times with glyoxide or a similar product. Applying lotion too closely to the piercing can disrupt the healing process by clogging it or infecting the area.

i think in this video im not wearing any lip products, there might've been a chapstick over the bare lips. my natural lips on most days tends to be a little red so i'm always trying to tone it down a bit! lol. when you go get it done ask for the "side labret" and as for the jewel id suggest getting a cheap one and just switch it out later so you can save some money! :)
