I've gotten really horrible customer service at MAC stores and counters that I never want to buy. It's really sad because I see a lot of cool products on youtube and have every intention of buying something, but as a new customer, I ask questions and every single time I've asked about a product, they've curtly answered me and walked away. I agree it turns you off a brand no matter the quality of the product.

Yup, I experience the same thing with Inglot - Time Square customer service. I ended buyin nothing, left the store, spend money elsewhere! Too bad the products are good but the CS are very bad ... hence I will not buy it anymore nor recommend the brand to my friends.

I also had a terrible experience with Inglot Vegas. Salesman seemed aloof and wholly averse to using his brain. I chose a freedom shadow that was out of stock and I had to nearly poke the salesman with a stick to get a form to order it, which he subsequently lost... So I had to call the store over a month later to check on it, and since he lost the form we didn't know what color it was, etc. Big pain in the ass to get one shadow, which they should have just sent from the warehouse. Blah.

I know Americans always complain about the poor/inexistent customer service in France and I know what they mean, but I guess I'm used to it :) - but then again, having lived in the US, by no means is the CS always stellar either>>> sometimes you feel it depends on the salesperson's mood!

I had a very similiar experience in the Vegas Inglot. I was ready to spend major cash and the salesgirls did not assist me. When I did ask for assistance, they were put off. I went to Dior and spent my wad there instead. ;-) LOL I am glad you enjoyed NY...it's fantastic.

It really just depends who you get. I love going to inglot, they have crazy good makeup for cheap and people there are always nice to me. So i dunno. Its like that with all stores i find. Obviously Inglot is a Polish brand and to be completely honest their customer service here in Poland is horrible also. I've been to sereveral store and not only do the people who work there not help out, I feel like they are very poorly educated on the products they are selling. I love their products but cannot stand shopping there.

ive been at two inglot stores: vegas and newport beach.when i went to the newport beach one i was the only one too. the girl was so nice and even place the eyeshadows in for me. she also gave me lots of samples. as for the one in vegas (the forum shop one) they were so cold and rude! they didn't say much and told me they're not allowed to put the eyeshadows in for me (they wouldnt go out of there way basically).

I had a similar experience at the Inglot in Las Vegas, NV. It was a good five minutes before anyone even came out of the back to help me. I was also the only customer there. Very rude! I didn't buy anything.

i went to inglot on 9/11 actually (in Newport CA) and I had good customer service. I knew going in what I was gonna get (10 freedom palette) and black gel liner! the store was clean, workers were friendly. (I like being left alone when I shop, but I like being able to ask questions if I have any). Hopefully that doesn't deter you from trying their products, i'm very happy with mine :D

With Inglot, it depends on when you go & who you get. I went there recently and no one was paying attention to my mom & I. It was like pulling teeth getting them to pull the eyeshadows I needed for my palette. Then I asked if they had this red lipliner that's almost a perfect match for MAC's Russian Red, & the girl said they were out of it w/o looking in the back. I went back the next day & got much better service, they found my lipliner, & my mom was helped to be matched with a foundation.

Too bad about Inglot. There are always stores like that. The first time I went into a MAC counter the ladies were rude and did the same thing so I just left. I absolutely can not buy anything even if I wanted to from a store that displays bad customer service. I hope Inglot head office hears about this and looks into this because that is unacceptable not to mention a safety hazard with the spilt foundation on the floor.
