One question, if the lick is in A, why do you play C(minor 3rd)?

@neckthrough13 The reason he plays the C is because it's an A7 chord that he is playing the blues scale over. Blue scale goes I-iii-IV-#IV-V-vii-I. So he basically only plays notes from that scale until the last note, F#, which is the VI, always a hip tone tone to land on.

the reason i love him is because all he does is slow it down for you, and doesn't confuse you with annoying instructions. i find it so much easier to learn that way
