  • 04:46: Dave is grooooooveeeeey!

  • Where Is Part 1 ??????

  • ARE THEY RIGHT?!!!!

    YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH

Gotta love SB, and the fans.

  • ARE THEY RIIISE !!!!

  • oh, and while i was there at the pub i took 2 hours of video footage. i uploaded two of the songs from it to youtube. do a search for: morse d'virgilio

and my two uploads should show up at the top of the results. one of these days i'll take the time to upload the rest of the footage.

  • it doesn't get much better than spock's beard. imo, they're up there with genesis, yes, king crimson, etc.

back in 2000 (or maybe it was 99?) i was on a vacation with the family in germany (i live in the US) i was lucky enough to catch neal and nick do an acoustic set in a small nuerenberg pub. great experience. i was able to sit with them at the bar drinking (i was 16 then, i love germany!) and talking when they took breaks from playing. they are really cool guys. lots of fun.

  • Noch nie hat mich Musik so emens und nachhaltig bezaubert. Eine der wenigen Gruppen, die mich in eine andere Welt führen.

  • Thanks for adding this video.......it goes through so many twists and turns this track but flows throughout

  • Great live rendition of this song. The guitar solo at the end with Neal's great lyrics can't be beat. Now that Transatlantic is going to tour, could a reunion of all the orgin bands be out of the question? Let's hope not!

  • i don't knew that group

  • woo hoo! you found the way!! awesome

  • this isnt the whole song. theres a huge part at the first, like big prog instrumental part.

  • drywall

  • excuse me?

  • You read me.

  • queer.

  • Drr . . . Drr . . .

  • 1st part? Where?

  • Gah, the piano gets too quiet when Neal does his jazzy solo part.

  • Outstanding. Prog Rock requires REAL talent by the musicians and REAL understanding of the listener. SB, IQ, Glass Hammer, Genesis (old), Transatlantic, etc. All impressive.

  • Don't forget The Flower Kings ;)

  • Don't forget Neal's solo albums ;)

  • This is so amazing...

Spock's Beard is a terribly underrated band..

  • One of the best and most inspiring songs from one of the best and most inspiring bands of all time!!! Morse's Spock's Beard are for real -as heartfelt and melodious as Blackfield and as technically proficient as Yes, ELP, and all the rest..with the soul of Genesis and Porcupine Tree....I love this!!!!

  • ARE THEY RIGHT!?!

    Hell yes, SB rocks.

  • Who's on bass on this. It doesn't sound like Dave...though the guy sounds damned good.

  • It's Dave, the one and only

  • @MichaelAGardiner it's still dave meros, but now that you mention it he does seem to be playing a bit more mellow than usual.

  • Ryo plays more now...

  • Keep them coming - those good comments. The band deserves it!

  • Listen to the backing vocals from Nick D'Virgilo at 2'18... So thrilling...

Man, what a band that was...

  • OMFG this is awesome

    thanks, incredible upload!

  • "all there is

is all there could be,but it's all just words to me" AWESOME

  • I love "ARE THEY RIGHT?!" and the crowd cheering is real.

  • Great.

One of the best prog bands.

    Simply amazing.

    King's X rocks!!

  • So great... God bless Neal Morse.

  • maybe the most underrated song ever!

  • fantastic song!!

    "waving their banner of white!
