anyone kno how to gain wieght if ur a 14yo begginer mixed martial artist,ik its not neccisary but the ppl at my gym are around 150lbs almost all mussel and im only 120lbs almost all mussel,my style is primarily kickboxing and stnad up based.please reply
@dsettleascii so you want powerful legs primarily, try resistance band training, I.E wrap a resistance band around your waist, step forward and squat, using 2 dumbells, one heavier than the other side step to one side, squat down, pick up one dumbell and side step to the other side of a mat or something, then go back and do the same with the other, it will build really good strength and endurance in your legs, as well as giving you a bit of a cardio workout
Technic overwhelms size. Being at a disadvantage is actually an advantage because you wont rely on size and strength. Remember, martial arts is a journey my friend. Your lucky to start early. Focus on the most basic techniques. That is what wins, i promise.
Interesting stuff, I'll have fun with it. Not something I can do on my pushup handles, good excuse to get on the ground again, and not so much wrist annoyance. Good to mention this in the last 07 newsletter.
Do your knees touch the floor during the piston?
