I dont care which team everyone thinks he belongs to, he is a man to be remebered for what he did to all the teams he was at. But i am Nottingham Forest Girl, and i say what he did for our club was amazing, but now Forest have just chucked the whole fucking lot away, they need to play up and remember who got them that far.
What a manager.Look what he achieved at Derby and Nottingham Forest ; won the league at each (and quickly!) & turned Forest into European Champions TWICE. .In his playing days ,one of the most prolific centre forwards ever before injury stopped him and as a manager feared,loved and respected. We all know he should have been the England Boss (&so did he!).Bless you Cloughie, wish there were characters like you still around,thanks for the entertainment & the memories. A Liverpool FC fan.

I wrote to him shortly after a documentary about him in his latter years and he kindly sent me a signed photograph. Wish there were people like him and Shankly still around in football (they had mutual respect). Hope Forest improve and get back in the Prem. All the best, a Liverpool FC fan.

I bet God was crapping himself the day he took Brian Clough from us, the greatest football manager that has ever lived, no-one will ever again achieve what Cloughie did at Derby or Forest. I hope he made his peace with Taylor at the big stadium in the sky and they will be kicking arse up there.....Good luck to Nigel at Derby, if he can be half the manager his dad was, then he will be great as well
