@TheSawJigsaw its a sea shanty from the early 1800's. their rhythm was meant to coordinate large groups of sailors as they did different tasks on sailing ships of the time (mainly larger ships such as a 4th or 3rd rate man of war). drunken sailor was a type of shanty used for repetitive pulling type tasks; hauling up anchors and the such.

One of us also plays fiddle- so we'll have him do the music. The funny part is one of my teachers will probably start dancing.
