  • Wow...haven't seen this for many years. What an all action fighter Green was, although Palamino and Leonard were too much for him.

  • Why was Green allowed to get away with such behaviour? Count the head butts (13 or 14 to me). The most blatent was at the start of the 4th (an incident that merited disqualification in itself), by the start of the 3rd John H's left eye was totally shut. Harry Gibbs "the hard man-no nonsance ref of world boxing" completely let John H down with such an inept performance. Very strange! At the time of the fight John H wasnt on speaking terms with either Lawless (his manager) of Duff the promoter???
