How does it happen that at an astronomy convention - a discipline which relies heavily [in part] on image quality - that the visual quality of this vid is so poor?

@Urbino237 a) Not all astronomers sit around making pretty pictures (or even using pretty pictures!) all day and b) even if they did, that wouldn't mean they were any more or less likely to get really cool digital cameras. :P
