you really trying to tell me frazier and foreman wernt as good (imho theyr deffinately better) than tyson??
tyson is the biggest waste in history its actually quite sad he was BRILLIANT then don king got his claws into him and was a wreck by 20 years old so well never know how good he couldve been :(
when tyson faced real class he lost ali stepped up
I still wonder what would have happened if Larry Holmes' arm didn't get caught in the ropes against Tyson. Tyson was unprotected when he landed that knockout blow to Holmes. He pulled the trigger before Tyson landed that blow, but his fist was entangled in the ropes.
@MIKESOWELL well Tyson was dominant throughout. Larry Holmes wasn't fighting like he was supposed to. he was abondoning the jab and wasn't on his toes. he did come out at the start of the 3rd or 4th round (not sure which), and looked amazing, but then started fighting flat footed again. but if he would've fought like that for the rest of the fight i think he would've put up a very good fight and possibly would've came out with a win.
@1SugarRayRobinson1 True, I think Ali would use his reach and sit behind his speed and his cobra strike-like jabs to beat Tyson. I wouldn't be surprised if Ali even knocked out Tyson late in the fight, Tyson as evidenced in his career was not as dominant late in a fight as he tended to get fatigued in the middle rounds.
This fight could seriously go either way. Very competitive. A KO is not likely; it would probably go the distance. Anyway, it's been debated to absolute death, often times by people who don't really know anything about boxing aside from what popular rhetoric has told them to believe, and very often times people can't even seem to grasp the concept of a "prime". They keep interjecting their absolute worst moments in the ring and use that as a basis for an argument. It's just ridiculous.
@1SugarRayRobinson1 I know....look what marginal boxer Henry 'Quick' Tillis caused Tyson. He had a style similar to Ali, though nowhere near the talent that Muhammad was.
@yerty2000 you really are not getting under my skin..... It's interesting how you act like you know all there is to know about boxing, but yet all of your comments are saying noting about boxing, and are just trying to *and I quote*, trying get under my skin.
why dose everyone say tyson would knock out ali but when people where stronger then tyson quicker and longer in reach ali ethier K.O them or win on points. everyone compares ali to tyson because he could score K.OS that was it ali beat people better then tyson pure and simple.
@yerty2000 okay, at first i though you actually had some boxing knowledge and had some aceptable opinions, but now I realize that you are just another Tyson fanboy (girl), who cannot stand the fact that someone thinks that Tyson is not the GOAT. So fuck you and stop imagineing your riding Tyson's dick, (cause he wouldn't touch your ugly ass with a ten ft. pole).....
@yerty2000 I'm sorry but if I'm not mistaken "worship" in this case would mean that I think Ali is the greatest boxer of all time, (which I don't), that no one could beat him and that his losses were jokes, and would not mention the greatness of other boxers.... that's not what I do. You want the definition of "worship"? Go look at your butt-buddy Tysonisthebestever's channel... and, internet tough guy? I was insulting you, not saying I was gonna beat your ass over the internet......
@hbk711x yeah Tyson wanted Trevor Berbick and Larry Holmes to know what it felt like to just get dominated like they did to Ali when Ali was 38 and had parkinsons. Tyson did a good job.
no wonder Ali would have owned him, the great agility and moreover the bullet proof chin were something tyson do not know how to deal with. on the other hand, Ali does know how to handle strong hitters as tyson.
@globecarrier yeah. that's why 9 times out of 10 when someone says Tyson would beat Ali they know very little about either fighters or their careers....
i agree with the op mostly

you're a dickhead if you get into arguments about this discussion (unless it's for personal amusement).
Cleveland williams had a shrivelled left leg, was missing 3 feet of intestine and had a bullet in his body.. WTF do people even use this example?
Tyson TKOs Ali in round 6..
