Go to hell, Do you not see the whole world is using turbos for performance apart from the Japs who are so stubborn because they want Vtec or VVTi to compete with turbos but they just cant,

BTW my 1.8T has had £500 spent on it and makes over 220bhp and kills all b18 hondas, even the so called tuned ones.

How much are the stage 3's goin for nowadays?... Iv'e an mk4 meself and the sound from your motor is beautiful, what kind of exhaust system do ya have?

If you haven't already found a price for them here you go, $1500 for just the turbo upgrade which is a k04, and for the whole system (turbo, injectors, fuel pump, hoses, ecu, piping etc.) it's around $4500 - $4700, and that's not including the installation costs. The whole system will put your car up to about 280 hp.

9/10 times going to be a coil pack or spark plug. Buy an OBD2 reader for like 65$. If it throws a code for misfires in any cylinder, check the coil pack. Make sure all the part numbers on the packs end with the letter 'R' not 'J'

civics are way more popular than gti's are you kidding? and yes stock a wrx may beat a gti, and i like both cars, but add a chip to a gti and then it's faster and better looking. although personally i'd go for an sti if i was getting a subaru. it's not even that much more..

Of course civics are more popular than GTI's, are you blind? Think about how many civics you see on the road everyday. I would consider that a good thing for the GTI, I hate civics, am looking at buying a 20th GTI.

just bought my apr stage 3 kit, got huge race intercooler from euro sport, and 3" exhaust from apr too, shits gonna be so much fun i love my car its an 04 and only has 40k on it just got the kit from my friend who works on vws , he took it off his gti and put stage 3+ on and i got a super labor day special price, the only thing i have a question? is LSD really needed if im not gonna be going balls crazy with the car? i am gonna get it soon but i just spent a good bit of money n no job right now
