In the Book of Gen. the trees in the garden was to eat off of the to substain life. Eve didn't have sex with the serpent. That would make the trees(men) and eating the fruit (having sex). God told Adam and Eve to eat of (all the trees of the garden) but of the tree of good and evil, not to eat of it. If what she is saying is true by eating the fruit off the trees is have sex, then That would be like God tell Adam and Eve to have sex with everyone in the the garden but not that one.

Here is something I came across. (Gen. 4:1-2) "And again, she bore his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, and Cain a tiller of the ground." Shouldn't it read 'Now Cain was a tiller of the ground, and Abel a keeper of sheep'? Isn't the oldest/firstborn son suppose to come first in Jewish tradition? Why was Abels name put first then Cain's? It doesn't make sense unless Abel was Adams firstborn and not Cain.

In the Book of Gen. the trees in the garden was to eat off of the to substain life. Eve didn't have sex with the serpent. That would make the trees(men) and eating the fruit (having sex). God told Adam and Eve to eat of (all the trees of the garden) but of the tree of good and evil, not to eat of it. The Bible is not as it was given and much was added to the remaining texts by misinterpretation, the scribes, and the Church itself. A degree in Theology wouldn't help much, but reading what scholars have discovered is necessary to better understand the Bible.

First, the Bible is Gods revelation of Himself. One doesn't need a degree in theology to understand it. It has allegory, imagery, parables, but in EVERY CASE, the Bible states if it is an allegory, parable, etc...
Further more, you can find the meaning to any symbol or bit imagery within the Bible itself.
So I reject the speculation and allegorization that the speaker in this video puts forth.
While this theory may be "interesting" it is not worth considering as true/possibly true.

At minute 8:28 Joye says Cain didn't want to give his first fruits,but see Gen.4vs3 it shows he did but God had no respect for it.Cain probably worked his ass off farming and brought a very nice offering,but as we know God prefers a slaughtered animal more,so the rest of the story is probably that Cain should have gone to Abel and traded for an animal offering to bring.Cain may have felt all his hard work was in vain and was very sad and angry that he had been rejected and took it out on Abel.

this is incorrect. it states that "in the course of time" Cain brought forth his offering, but that Abel brought the firstborn of his flock and their fat portions. So it's not about slaughter vs. fruit of the ground, but rather the first of the earnings as opposed to offerings over time. the first of your earnings shows greater faith. I personally have been Cain more often than Abel in this respect, I should change that.

If you read the next scripture it appears that Cain and Abel brought their offerings at the same time - "in the course of time"...Of course we're not told what "a course of time" means,or anything else about the situation.This leads to personal interpretation and speculation,argument,division,but ultimately its about "trying the reins of the heart".You say i'm incorrect and I say you've got it wrong.God asked "Will you take the good and not the evil?"Think i'll let you decide your preference

I wasn't trying to insult you but to try to make God out to be one who prefers slaughter is a slippery slope my friend. The NIV states in the course of time Cain brought forth SOME of the fruits of the soil as an offering, BUT Abel brought FAT portions from the FIRST of his flock. Now these words aren't emphasized but the context in which it is written with these descriptive words is indicative of the idea that Abel gave abundantly and Cain gave what he felt like giving.

@StopMKold you've obviously never worked on a farm. The "FIRST" pickings of a crop are not the "BEST" pickings. That's why veggies/fruits bought from a local farmer actually have taste whereas the same store-bought veggies/fruits are lacking flavor. They're picked too soon w/o giving the crops time to mature & ripen. Sure, this manner allows the time for crops to get to the stores but you sacrifice quality for quantity. A nitwit knows this. It's why I buy organic, family farm veggies/fruits.
