I dare because I'm a true Castlevania fan. Read what I wrote. I said that the chick is skillful in her artwork, but the character design is what I have a problem with. The males look like fags or ugly females. That means her male character designs are SHIT. Great artwork and coloring, but the look of the male characters is NOT Castlevania. I don't want effeminate heroes. Her design of the females is fine but for the males it looks like she took a female character and made it slightly masculine.

Well that's my point. They act manly but don't look it. So I think it makes more sense for them to look the part. Looking weak and being strong just doesn't work. Also, macho and masculine are two different things. I'm not saying they have to be like Conan, but they should have manly facial features. Nathan Graves for example. He's mid-size as far as muscular form goes and he looks like a man. Hugh Baldwin too even though he has long hair. Same with Richter from Dracula X.

The art is very good, but I got a little tired of it after a while. On the other hand the music is brilliant and I never get bored of it. Actually, to be honest, castlevainia music, in my opinion, is THE greatest music of any video game by far. But that's just me.

I perfer Kojima's art, dead on. I hate Obata's art, he fucking hurt Castlevania so badly. Simon in Judgement looks like Light Yagami that turned into a gay cosplayer, Maria in Judgement looks like Misa Misa whom shrunk, And Alucard looks like Sephiroth. Hell, in the game, I half expected Simon to whip out a Death note.

i think a little more credit to michiru is called for here:

as beautiful as ayami's artwork is, there are countless female artists and painters whose style is predominantly gothic- but there are SO few women in the world who make music as original, ambitious and fantastical as michiru, let alone genre-crossing video game soundtracks, which i have always believed to be in many ways the pinnacle of contemporary musicianship. michiru is a genius and maybe my favourite composer after nobuo uematsu.

These two women were what saved Castlevania and made it what it is. Ayami Kojima was the best artist for the job, her art style suited Castlevania the best and pwns the Death Note Manga-ka by miles of awesomeness. Ayumi's gothic style was the best I've ever seen and gave the games it's eerie creepy awesomeness. Not that they got rid of her, I won't be surprise of Castlevania starts to die...I just hope they bring her back and make sure to keep Michiru. Both woman are the meaning of EPIC WIN.
