I don't know what to think of SUPs. As long as they stay away from me when I'm surfing completely, I have no problems with them. If they choose to surf where I'm at, they need to tread very lightly.Everyone who decides to buy an SUP needs to pay their dues SURFING first. Learn the lineup, etiquette, all that stuff.

@cmonty72 You can ollie over them if you have enough speed and good balance but it can be dangerous I've had the board hit my head and ribs before on failures. With the greater speed of a SUP you can navigate through the waves sometimes or wait for sets to roll through then paddle like hell... but if it looks like your not going to make it out just bail out and dive under is my advice.
