I heard that Saïx and Axel were best friends or something before they lost their hearts, that's why Saïx called Axel by his original name. I bet that's what he means when he says "Which would you rather suffer the loss of: some make-believe friendship, or a real one?" referring to his and Axel's old friendship as the real one and Axel and Roxas' friendship as the fake one. Axel chose his friendship with Roxas, which is probably why Saïx dislikes him so much in Kingdom Hearts 2.

How it rolls out of his mouth is a little peculiar, but as long as it's imitated as best as possible, not much can go wrong with translation. ok, let's get this straight. the way the japanese pronounce the KH names, with the exception of vexen, are all the same in english. having said that, "lea" WILL most certainly be pronounced as "lee-AH" in the NA version, not as "lee." that is one consonant off.
