For those who are asking, I think it is a American Standard Stratocaster, because there is not the S1 switch and the painting is not as detailed as the Deluxe ones. And he is also using SSS to get this tone. Amazing.

Honestly I think alot of the feeling that this cover may lack isn't due to Gustavo's playing, rather the backing track. It's pretty thin and lacks the same flow and groove that the drums and bass add for Andy. Especially during the solo. They are both amazing players.

can someone help me, i dont really get thios tapping thing, when i do this it sounds really crappy and the note dies right away. is there something special about it?

@eyk234 I use the bridge pickup as Andy does. I had the same thing occur when I first tried it. It just takes practice to get the right touch. Try the first note over and over till you get that touch fret 7 and tap at the 19th fret on d string. I always use 12 frets up. I find myself doing this often now. You should get good enough to hear it even without amplification. good luck
