shuldnt have gone in, not in Korea, Vietnam or other south american countries. During the cold war US did enduring damage, they were test firing their weapons for Vietnam!!...thats the reason that American forces havent stopped fighting since the 2nd world war!!....u still have troops in more than 1 country and most of the times it wasnt ur cup of tea! I have nothing but a deep respect and abiding love for the US military men and women. Some of whome make the ultimate sacrifice, or put their sanity, lives and livelihoods on hold to keep me safe and free. Being a Vietnam era Vet, I am proud to have been in the position to do the same for my Country and fellow countrymen and women. Give them the respect that they have EARNED, and remember your own family members that at one time or another made the same sacrifices.
As for the current "War on Terror" we did not ask to have 3000 plus citizens of the WORLD killed that day, however it happened and our government responded. Do I agree with everything that the government did and how they did it? No I don't but I do think that generalizations about an entire country are unfair especially since most modern democracies are based off of the US form of self rule
Vietnam; the French had been fighting there since the end of WWII. Operations Urgent Fury, Just Cause and Desert Storm were undertaken to save lives not just American lives but also the lives of citizens of those countries or Kuwait in DS1. Joint Endeavor, Joint Guard, Joint Forge, Allied Force were NATO operations that the US was a part that quite honestly did not really affect the US but our military people gave their lives to protect those who needed protecting.
As someone who has "been there done that" and has friends who are still there I can assure you that 99.9&% of us want to be home with our loved ones. We follow orders, only a very few enjoy killing and they probably have a mental illness. As for the USA being the problem, two World Wars started by Germany, we entered the war in Europe to save those countries we went to Korea to help save a country,

They tried words and it failed. Humans are stuck with war until we learn to live in balance with the world. Stop population growth and you stop famine, environmental issues, resource depletion and so much more. With less people there is more room for everyone. This world needs 3 billion people, not 7 billion

the problem is, stuff like this you cant fix. doesnt matter how hard you try, doesnt matter how much money you pump, for generations this will always be a part of their history. if you look at the elders of today, many of them die of a form of calcification...they never speak about the war, but I remember when I was little, we had been to the ocean for a vacation and had to leave very early in the morning to catch a boat, my Grandfather panicked, he kept looking behind, saying "the russians .."

I have nothing but a deep respect and abiding love for the US military men and women. Some of whome make the ultimate sacrifice, or put their sanity, lives and livelihoods on hold to keep me safe and free. Being a Vietnam era Vet, I am proud to have been in the position to do the same for my Country and fellow countrymen and women. Give them the respect that they have EARNED, and remember your own family members that at one time or another made the same sacrifices.

As for the current "War on Terror" we did not ask to have 3000 plus citizens of the WORLD killed that day, however it happened and our government responded. Do I agree with everything that the government did and how they did it? No I don't but I do think that generalizations about an entire country are unfair especially since most modern democracies are based off of the US form of self rule

Vietnam; the French had been fighting there since the end of WWII. Operations Urgent Fury, Just Cause and Desert Storm were undertaken to save lives not just American lives but also the lives of citizens of those countries or Kuwait in DS1. Joint Endeavor, Joint Guard, Joint Forge, Allied Force were NATO operations that the US was a part that quite honestly did not really affect the US but our military people gave their lives to protect those who needed protecting.

As someone who has "been there done that" and has friends who are still there I can assure you that 99.9&% of us want to be home with our loved ones. We follow orders, only a very few enjoy killing and they probably have a mental illness. As for the USA being the problem, two World Wars started by Germany, we entered the war in Europe to save those countries we went to Korea to help save a country,

Unfortunately it is not an option when it comes to defending people or their rights. Words do not stop an aggressor when he is on the move. Would words have stopped Hitler. They tried words and it failed. Humans are stuck with war until we learn to live in balance with the world. Stop population growth and you stop famine, environmental issues, resource depletion and so much more. With less people there is more room for everyone. This world needs 3 billion people, not 7 billion

War has always been apart of humans, old wars were fought for to protect or take wealth, we questioned death little, and the amount that was seen back then, death was not looked at as such a bad thing. Now we all fear death more than anything, as it becomes more questioned it becomes more feared. Life is valued much higher these days, and with war being so deceptive now its hard to give a reason for dieing in one. The way i see it, future war's won't take lives, just everything else.
