Homebrew is shit 80% of the time. Doesn't matter how you do it, milions of people agree, homebrew sucks, companies with tons of money and exact scientific analysis achieve good beer, not your average idiot with a bucket, tube, wort, and yeast.
The PET bottles are fine, people just have an abnormal revulsion to beer in plastic in the US for some reason. In other countries good beer is sold in plastic bottles all the time. The only advantage of glass is you can store beer longer. PET bottles lose some of their fizz after a year in the bottles. My beer only lasts a few months so no problems with PET.
Bottling into glass is recommended. Also transfer into a secondary vessel leaving the sludge at the bottom behind and priming with sugar is a must for on tap beer.
Are you a more advanced Crosisborg? I intetend to do that one day. Right now I have the method of this down to creating good beer that even my mates can drink. Good water, properly cleaned goods and quality sugar to prime.

Because it's really awful homebrew. Especially that white can. Yuck. Boo Coopers, what were you thinking?
Brew all-grain, you'll never touch another one of those extract cans again.
