Striped bass have inefficient digestive systems so a lot of their waste still has nutrients in it which tilapia and carp can process directly or by feeding on the algal bloom. Pretty much all fish eat a lot of less desirable things, worms, insects, etc. How is this different? God forbid you people should find yourselves in a time where your food no longer comes processed beyond recognition and be forced to *gasp!* eat what you catch/grow! I see mass starvation. lol
