  • interesting video and very informative

  • cool..such a nice fluid flows..!! i enjoy watching while listening the musics..!!

  • This vid went viral on Uruguay

  • Your video is a favorite on Cuba

  • This is great man. Love it.

  • can this a be screencsaver?

  • What software did you use to make this?

  • how long did this take to make/render?

  • should take 5 hours or even more to render :))

  • i wish i could have this as my desktop when i'm inactive

  • i saw a tutorial about something similar to this ^^"

    great job

  • @NasibahAlhussain

umm can't really remember where have i seen it

but try to look for something called "partiocolo"

  • Great...what programs have you used?

  • Taste the rainbow?

  • Geocities? WTF are you doing hosting on geocities?

  • Thats sick how did you make that?

  • the particles look like their in a fluid, like think of them as coloring food in water.

  • I don't know why, but this.. makes me.. feel.. happy.

  • Lool Awesome.

  • looks like an sbs advert :)

  • that should be a commercial!

  • wow thats amazing did you make that with blender?

  • superflatparticles simulation ?

  • so like were is the fluid?

  • i was expecting a game D:

  • Wtf is this?

  • Im thinking "tiny balloons", not fluids.

  • Looks like a Dip'n Dots commercial if they had one.

  • Relaxing =)

  • Looks like an Ishihara colourblindness test gone fluid :D Looks cool!

  • I wonder what software was used to make this? Is it flash or something like papervision 3D?

  • The music's weak, doesn't really match. Nice movement and color though.

  • Did you do this by hand or do you have a program to help with the physics and such?

  • i dont know what did most ppl expect, but this animation is awesome. great work!

  • Physics: Good.

    Graphics: Fail.

Overall: Mmm, cookies taste better than dough.

  • nice video!

  • RadCelt, all of the particle-based modules use forces. Fluid simulation is different because the particles themself have "density". Normally a single particle would fly through another one, even with metaparticles the effect wouldn't look good. Now if the same particle had its own density both of them would merge into a bigger one. Metaparticles change their visible size based on the distance between the particles (two on top of each other = one visible), fluid simulations don't ;).

  • ummm . . . . this is NOT a "superfluid" (a super-cooled fluid that flows with 0 viscosity) . . . lame

  • @kris1284x it sais simulation in the title dumbass! this is cool

  • @kris1284x Um. Superfluid is the company. Lame.

  • wow

  • @RJ1541 it has the same mechanics as fluid simulations its just renderd diffrently

  • @RJ1541 - Fluid simulation is accomplished using particles which are affected by forces (such as wind and gravity) - try looking at it again with an eye towards the motion you see, not the circles themselves.

  • for some reason it reminds me of a cocacola commercial xD

  • in what program do u made this?

  • you sure know how o use a particle system :O

  • wrong music(?)

  • whats the music?? lov it -

  • that was sweet!, the music soots it perfectly. technology these days ay.

  • very nice

  • i was expecting something scientific

  • @hat045 It acts a bit like a superfluid in tubes.

  • really? how is that?

  • same

  • @hat045 me too... but who cares, it looks awesome :)

  • I wonder what prog did they use?

  • beautiful, love the song.

  • This looks like a shampoo commercial.

  • i can't even imagine this on an HD tv. eye candy.

  • i love it, i wish it could be export to flash animation

  • Looks like a coke a cola ad

  • Or Sony Television :P

  • @yourstrulyloved omg i thought the samething :O

  • @yourstrulyloved

    lol can't unsee that

  • awesome.any tuts?

  • i love all the stuff u can do with blender 3d

  • Could anyone tell, please, whose music is used here?

  • Apparenly, the music was wriiten by a person named Kojiro Shishido.

Not quite sure what the name of the track itself is, though.

  • Please? at least where can I get his records ?

  • @PotatoUPrincess Thanks for your advice. I like this video and the way the bubbles burst. And the movin g of the spirale - it`s realistic.

  • SBS (TV channel) over here in Australia use that stuff for their call-sign.

  • creative yes, but no connection to reality, therefore, not a simulation of anything.

  • its simulating the way particles of water move.

  • this is a fluid how?

  • Awesome

  • hey what software did u use to make this? awesome stuff!

  • pretty sick :D

  • cool

  • hmm... doesn't look much like fluid to me, more like flying orbs lol

  • It's just super zoomed in, these are fluid molecules.

  • Its Super!Mind Boggling....ultimate....

  • very nice

  • It looks like a Prius commercial.

  • I'ma go head and rip off the back of a DVD and say: "Stunning Visuals!" great jaorb!

  • this could b used as a smarties advert lol nice job

  • The animation was stunning, but the music was weird...

  • pretty

  • very cool animation but nothing to do with an actual superfluid

I would say that the arpegio guitar style instrument is too loud in the mix on that tune too

  • its mesmerizing...

  • uhh whoa pretty

  • mesmerizing

  • That was quite entertaining. Music was PERFECT! I really enjoyed that, was really coloful. OK, question time... # of particle emitters? # of particles per emitter? And the FAQ of all animation... Render time? Great job. I attempted something like this once... was EPIC FAIL on my old POS 1gb ram, 128bit video laptop.

  • that was awesome, i think the music pulled the whole animation together

  • Very Beautiful Colors And Lovely Choice Of Music

  • Really Good Animation.

    Enough said.

  • great color choices

  • cool!

  • A superfluid behaves like this?

  • stupid as in your mediocre stick man flash animations?

  • exactly lol, i just do those cause i get boredlol

  • *looks both ways and slowly backs out of the room and shuts the door*

  • amazing

  • wonderful

  • love the color

  • LOOK LIKE DNA

  • bitches don't know about my differential equations ;p

  • Lovely !

  • is it just me, or does this remind you of that juice commercial

  • they remind me of a fanta commercial... lol

  • yeah, you're right! looks kinda.....

  • that's not a fluid! they're dots

  • a fluid is made of particles

  • It's an SBS ad.

  • awesome. a great addition to winamp / wmp visualization library.

  • Wonderful

  • you could see that on a sony bravia commercial

  • How cool :D

  • Those don't look like fluids at all. It looks mor elike that u used particle generation and then added a spiral modifier lolz. Along with some extra effects of course. Nice job anyways very Apple-ish :)

  • Looks like SPH or Smooth Particle Hydrodynamics, which is a form of fluid simulation. There's plenty of motion in there you couldn't get with traditional particle manipulators.

It would look more like what you might expect if it was surfaced rather than rendered with instanced particles/geometry.

  • Nope, that's not SPH at all. Great parts of this animation are just particle manipulations, but it also seems to contain some flocking behavior and several other modifications.

  • Comment removed

  • And heavy use of something like "Thinking Particles" (That's the advanced particle system in C4D), I don't know how advanced the softimage|XSI particle system is, but I guess it's pretty sophisticated too.

  • i was expecting some sort of bose einstein condensate..... wtf is this? This is some hippy luv

  • any sort of tutorial out there? cus this looks amazing

  • 0_o wo0ow yeah men!!

    go0o0d trip-H :)

  • засмотрелась! красотень.. подборочка музыки неплохая:)

  • underwhelming...

  • this would have been a perfect ad for when apple released their new ipod nanos in color :)

  • Not much of a simulation.

  • this video is not related to physics, i guess?

  • Yea, I was looking for Supoerfluids , also. Landed here XD

  • what's is the name music

    I love your animation!!!!

  • wtf is this?

  • this is quite good althought I could use some refelxions and some shadows just si spice the mud!

    simple opinion!

  • This is Great!

  • いいですね。 (´▽`)

    スクリーンセーバーとして欲しいですね。

  • Music is awesome

  • 引きつけられました!

  • subarasii

  • it`s cool

  • どこか民族っぽい響きがあるような気がする。

  • It....I...it's as if my sperm is dancing in the wind........beautiful. (tear drop)

  • And then

    It hits a virgin

    you get sued

  • Nobody sues in the UK

  • :O now i get it XD lol

  • This was like a meadow of refreshment. Together with the music it makes me feel like living in a timeless world. he he :-)

  • that was sooo cool 5 stars!

  • Really Really nice - 5 star all the way

  • groovy.

  • It's still cool, isn't it?

  • yea :D

  • agree, it's more like a simple "partical emitter" routine. but it still looks cool.

  • it does look cool, but it's mislabeled.

  • Yeah me too "natronicles"!

Very nice! The effect is great an the music is nice too! =)

  • I AM a hippy when watching this :) :)

  • I feel like a hippy watching this, lol.

  • I love the music!

  • I could watch that all day.. Pretty and retro, I think:)

  • wow that like totally spaces me out!!!XD

  • bm de mais, good, briliant, =]

  • briliant:D

  • how was this made? with what software? Does anyone know?

    Thanks

  • On the HD version, you can see the software listed in the end credits ;)

He used softimage|XSI 5.11 and Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6.0 (only for post-production and sound dubbing, I guess) to make the video.

  • It looks a bit like DNA.

  • This would make an awesome screen saver...

Or a visualization for iTunes or something like that.

  • This is absolutely AMAZING! I like the simplicity of the graphics, but the behavior of the "fluid"!

  • I want to know how do that.

  • nice synchronisation. except for the part where the two long strings of fluid were spinning around each other. I found that quite boring but I couldn't do that so no need to listen to me! :) Great vid!

  • wow!!! wut was this made with!! must have taken ages to render

  • "i am totally trippin balls" lol

  • Fantasic Piece. Looks mor like art to me, And why should Art have a point? Does it have to have a point?

  • LOL

  • love it

  • hm... cool!!!!! lol!!

  • datd realy cool looks gd :)

  • I now have 1:24 less to live
