of that goes to the company (often US or European) that owns the company in China.
So it doesn't matter if it's Made in China. Cheaper labor means cheaper products for
the consumer and more disposable income for other things (like a mortgage or car loan).

Another thing to take in mind, if the Pentagon genuinely does not know who hacked the computer, then by not confirming or denying, they save themselves embarrassment and protect national security.

Also, the world community think's we're too aggressive right now and whould see us in a worse light if we made a stink, which is what the PRC wants. not likely a "skilled nerd". Network censorship it pretty stiff in China. I've been there, trust me. They use programs designed to hunt down hackers and that sort devoloped by Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, and another company whose name escapes me at the moment. These companies were the subject of a recent Congressional hearing on the matter recently. It's likely organized crime or a governmental agency. The PRC likes to test the waters often; they do so with their other neighbors as well.

please, they (or the US pretending to be the Chinese) have hacked real security systems, major utilities, and all other systems our country depends on. Our software (Apple OS, Windows OS) have backdoors built in so that our government can gather info on us, that legally they aren;t supposed to, and I think the Chinese simply used our own backdoors against us. But leaking this info to the public is fuel for the gov to control the internet, in the name of national security.
