@Starchamps1 he's hitting somewhere around strings 1-3 or 4 with a combination of his middle and first finger. if you focus on the downstroke, you will hit the notes coming up when you pick up the speed naturally.

hey. I need to say you one thing, when you do rasgueo try to touch all the strings 5 to 1, you put the finger in the 6 string, it OK, but you only touch 3 and its not correct,

I keep breaking my nails so i now keep them shorter. long nails definetly make the guitar sound better but when u break one you got to wait 2 weeks and i really hate that

to play flamenco I had to grow my thumbnail and hated it, as I've always had short nails! However, it makes playing so much easier, I used "hard as nails" lacquer and its never broken - but it still annoys the hell out of me and yes..I can't pick things up properly between my thumb and fingers ..have no idea how women cope with long nails!!!
