@msamericanpatriot I know severe autism is looked at as a genetic disorder, and many parents would probably use preimplantation genetic diagnosis to favor the embryo without autistic genes if they could, but I don't think most people see high functioning autism or aspergers syndrome as a severe negative trait. I have even read some articles crediting it for the cause of the level of interest some people have in computer science.
The kind of eugenics I am talking about is the kind where the government does not have the right to sterilize you, but you have the right to use PGD to select an embryo with or without autistic traits. This is only eugenics in the strict definition of the Greek root words essentially meaning "good genetics". If you oppose the right of the mother to choose the genetics of her embryo then you support more government control over the individual which is fine if that's what you want.

@msamericanpatriot I know severe autism is looked at as a genetic disorder, and many parents would probably use preimplantation genetic diagnosis to favor the embryo without autistic genes if they could, but I don't think most people see high functioning autism or aspergers syndrome as a severe negative trait. I have even read some articles crediting it for the cause of the level of interest some people have in computer science.

The kind of eugenics I am talking about is the kind where the government does not have the right to sterilize you, but you have the right to use PGD to select an embryo with or without autistic traits. This is only eugenics in the strict definition of the Greek root words essentially meaning "good genetics". If you oppose the right of the mother to choose the genetics of her embryo then you support more government control over the individual which is fine if that's what you want.

Staff who whistleblow on disgusting treatment of patients have their professional registration revoked and are no longer permitted to practice.

People are persuaded to have operations that are not necessary, so that they have patients to practice on. Someone I know went blind after such operations - when she had excellent sight beforehand.
A friend has been advised the same -whilst her optician says this is totally inaccurate & untrue.

One family I know had to recently pay for their brother to be moved to a Bupa hospital, as they feared for his life in an NHS ward. After a couple of weeks they still had not diagnosed a bad throat infection that was stopping him from eating & though a diabetic they paid no attention at all for his need for insulin & other medications.
When raising concerns with the consultant he said, 'I don't have time for this'.

Insurance companies (unless they buy favors from the government) have no way to take your money unless they provide a service and satisfy their customers so that you voluntarily do business with them). Government just uses force to take you property and liberty. Therefore, private insurance companies are ALWAYS better than government involvement in healthcare. ALWAYS.

You're not thinking. Very few "for profit" insurance companies have control of the market. The % of claims denied in any particular region is huge, often 40-50%. No place else to go for coverage where coverage is often unaffordable.
YOU ARE BEING PLAYED. Learn facts instead of spewing generalizations. It's in your best interest. Ask seniors how they feel about Medicare. A large % will tell you they are happy with it. If you think what we have now is working, Beck has covered you in stupid.

This is NOT competition, this is government sabotaging -- nay, persecuting -- the private sector. The government deliberately would use the "public option" to destroy private insurance.
