i know that history of nuremberg has also dark sides, but we want to try to show that nuremberg has changed, it is a process which still is moving on, but i think we are on a good way, i hope so!?
I grew up here (basically---from 2yrs old to 14yrs old), my husband was stationed in schweinfurt germany and one of my sons was born in Wurzburg. One way or another i keep finding myself back there. And now we have tossed around the idea of retiring to Germany...who knows, we'll wait and see what fate says.
@intruderwings no I was born in the United States. When a 13 month old baby can be turned away from a hospital and refused imminuzations based on their type of insurance, then you know it is too expensive to live here and that's just one example.
I've always wanted to visit over there, i was born on the army base in '89. Adopted out when i was 4 months old and lived in the states ever since. One day i plan to go visit my hometown though.
I was stationed near Nurnberg in the late 80's. Schwabch to be exact and forgot all about the Brass Ring. I turned that thing a time or two. I really miss Germany and would love to go back! Thanks for posting this vid.
Nicely done. 87 Widder str. Furth 75 to 78. A 64 VW bug,not much money, my first home on my own, a new now x-wife, adventure. Came back in 91 with new wife to roam the streets and shop in the market square again thx PL
I consider you to be lucky. I lived in Nurnberg (Merrill barracks) as an American soldier after serving in Vietnam. I arrived in Germany in March 1970. I absolutely love Nurnberg and the many german friends I made there. One of my very dear german friends, Monika, now lives in the Nashville Tennessee area, we still speak on the phone. I have many german friends here and some that still live in germany but come every summer to vacation. If I ever move back to germany it would be to Nurnberg.
yeh i travelled all around germany in 2007, nuremerg was a real treat to just take it easy and stay at for a few weeks, it really is a magnificent town, a great mixture of locals and a few tourists
Nicely done. I visited Nuremberg in 2004, and loved the place. It has plenty of places for tourists to enjoy, but isn't over-commercialized and "touristy"
very good made video of my home-town!
tourists are ever welcome here!

I visited Nuremberg in summer of '96. Very nice place. Can't forget the golden fountain fence, you have to make a wish.
