I imagine Picard has all of his crew members comatose, and hooked up to an elaborate virtual reality simulation with him as the master. Like tranquility lane in Fallout 3. That's why he always somehow is able to escape unscathed from every obstacle put before him.
Patrick Stewart also did some voice acting for Hayao Miyazaki's 'Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind' as did Edward James Olmos (Galactica's Adm. Adama). Might be some material there as well...
You know, Patrick Steward also does voices for the cartoon show "American Dad" and he is kind of lewd...would fit perfect for these recuts...the PICARD IS ANGRY!!
I just remember a line from it and it was like him trying to pick up some teenage girl..think his line was something like "I am thinking of a number and that number is 100 dollars" or something ...would totally fit into these recuts ;-P
@Stargate942ITA Music by Zack Hemsey from one of the trailers for the film "Inception" - "Mind Heist". Shouldn't be hard to find the music on YouTube - it is already used for a number of fanmade trailers.
That's how Inception should've been. forget skiing down imaginary mountains and folding Paris in half. It should have had more weird portals and people turning into cakes.
Brilliant! Would've been funny too if you used the scene from TNG Recut 37 where this woman is stuck in the corridor and Worf says "Are you lost? Where are you supposed to be? xD
Though, I was kind of hoping to hear Tom Hardy say "You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling" while showing him trying to bang Troi during that mind-rape scene in ST Nemesis :-P
@gussiejives Not yet. But if we find the reason why he isn't merry - likely issues with his father's honor - and resolve them - he will convince himself that he is a merry man. We just need to go deeper.
@gussiejives for the final shot I was going to go with either Remmik's exploding head or Worf.
for some reason I went with the latter. I'm not sure it was the right choice because half the comments here are about Worf and not the rest of the vid
@GeneralGrin I like the ending. Very light and amusing. I was thinking that you could have included snippets of Data's Laforge torture during Descent Part 2.
I think something to do with dreaming a little bigger darling, maybe with Riker looking a bit weedy with his type 1 phaser, and Paris with a phaser compression rifle, or the big guns from the pilot of Babylon 5 that were never seen again, or just jump straight to Worf's purple man-portable recoilless rocket antitank weapon.

While mildly humorous, there is a better shot than destroying the lute. It doesn't add to the music or feel of the rest of the scenes.
