I live in USA and all I can say is the plans in your country are terrible:( I can get 10GB of 4g for 30 dollars a month plus unlimited 2g after i use the 10GB. Your home internet is also terrible, you cap your costumers at 500GB?!1?! Why cap? That's just stupid.
@jezzastyle The ultimate has a theoretical limit of 42mbps. Real world speeds are between 1.1 Mbps and 20Mbps in all capital city CBDs and selected regional areas. Cheers sam
@scottylans Never mind, I checked - it's only 850mhz, no 900 - so even if it's unlocked. It will suck on Optus. The Elite model for 129$ is superior, despite the flashy screen.
@EpicBusinessTools You can't use CAT5 / 6 ethernet cable but if your desktop has a USB port free, you can tether it to your desktop using the supplied USB cable.

Does anyone know if this thing is quad band? The Elite wifi is quad band I believe, so surely this one is too?

Awesome... Now we just need an update to the BigPond ADSL modem!
Anything offering similar functionality to this will do just nicely...
