  • I can never help but think that Giason's line, Ah! Qual Voce! (following, Io, Medea) cannot help having a tinge of irony. Ah! That Voice! indeed.

  • Your wonderful drawings brought back memories of an unforgettable evening at Covent Garden. And the tremendous ovations and curtain calls at the end were out of this world. We were lucky to be there even if too young to realise what a unique event we were witnessing. I have seen countless operas since with many of the top singers of today but none have stayed so vividly in my memory.

    From her first entrance and "Io Medea" to the very end I had shivers running down my spine! Thank you so much.
